• Follow up technical issues with design engineering and construction teams.
• Responsible for maintaining the forecast of the resources required to deliver against the Project Plan.
• Control and monitor the MEP project budget, by evaluating and reviewing the quarterly submitted MEP project budget.
• Submit and follow up with the consultant the material submittals and engineering submissions of LV and ELV’s main packages and equipment, and conduct technical meetings in the presence of the supplier or manufacturer as necessary.
• Review MEP technical bids and contracts, analyze and compare it in relation to project specification and scope of work.
• Conduct workshops with the consultant to accelerate the electrical (LV & ELV) shop drawings’ approval process.
• Report to and support the Project Director on all electrical matters related to the project.
• Maintain and update a report summarizing the status of all project deliverables.
• Review Factory Acceptance test procedures, and pursue its approval with the consultant.
• Identify any scope deviation, assess variation orders and follow up its approval process with the consultant.
• Ensure having the proper coordination between SCADA and MEP systems as per the approved interface documents and specifications.
• Coordinate and conduct preliminary benchmark tests with SCADA engineer in-order to ensure having the required level of system integration reference the approved interface documents.
• Review and control the submission of testing and commissioning plans and procedures.

• Checking and reviewing construction documents and shop drawings as per ERs, local and international codes and standards.
• Monitor the subcontractors’ quality of work, and ensure facilitating their logistics and permits from other FAST entities and civil team in-order to meet the target schedule.
• Manage the flow of information by conducting and leading internal and external meetings with all engaged stakeholders: sub-contractors, suppliers and consultant.
• Coordinate with MEP technical manager to produce the required shop drawings and document submittals in accordance with project schedule plan.
• Review subcontractors MTOs (Material Take-Offs) reference to the approved drawings, BOQs and signed contracts.
• Review Shop Drawings and ensure that all design and specifications’ basis are followed in compliance with local and international codes.
• Develop and maintain resource management plan by defining the roles and responsibilities of the project team members in order to create a project organizational structure and provide guidance regarding how physical resources will be assigned and managed.
• Review and manage all manpower allocation with respect to activities and priorities.
• Assess manpower’s four months look-ahead plan based on project working program.
• Manage task execution based on the project management plan by leading and developing the project team in order to achieve project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety (HSE) requirements and its application by all construction teams as per approved HSE procedures.
• Follow up site execution, LV/LC testing and commissioning for Riyadh Metro Visitor Center located on the intersection of Uruba Rd. and King Abdul Aziz Rd.

• Acquire and manage project resources by following the resource and procurement management plans in order to meet project requirements.
• Manage and lead MEP teams by establishing procedures of shared reports to management.
• Arrange scheduled site audits and prepare managerial reports showing project progress and any issue affecting project’ schedule plan.
• Verify that project deliverables conform to the quality standards established in the quality management plan by using appropriate tools and techniques to meet project requirements and business needs.
• Liaise with consultant and client on weekly basis in-order to approve the proposed system as per project specifications and employer requirements.
• Coordinate with low current suppliers to ensure the application of the required system integration between BMS, Access Door, Guest Room Management System, Lighting Control and CCTV.
• Review supplier’s Fire Alarm Matrix in-order to meet approved Fire Life & Safety Strategy and NFPA 101.

• Prepare design drawings and calculations in accordance with all relevant standards and procedures.
• Identify key deliverables based on the business requirements in order to manage customer expectations and direct the achievement of project goals.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) in accordance with standard method of measurements.
• Development of project cost plans and assist in the estimation of project in-house resource requirements.
• Participate in the development of the project charter by compiling and analyzing gathered information in order to ensure project stakeholders are in agreement on its elements.
• Prepare technical notes and manufacturing drawings in coordination with suppliers as specified in employer requirements.
• Carry out site supervision duties as necessary to ensure the execution of work in accordance with contract specifications, approved drawings and materials.

• Responsible for the main Project Electrical works (Basement Floor) and main medical floor (Ground Floor).
• Responsible for installation, termination, testing and commissioning of Low Voltage Equipment (Transformers, Generators, Busway) and Low Currents systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, BMS).
• Prepare technical variation orders to be submitted to client reference to the updated revisions of IFC designs drawings.
• Assist the PM in preparing any required material take off, variation orders, monthly reports and invoices.
• Capture, analyze and manage lessons learned, using lessons learned management techniques in order to enable continuous improvement within the organization.
• Responsible for reviewing drawings and preparing Request for Information (RFI) in case of presence of any ambiguity in the available project information.
• Follow up all the medical / electrical details and requirements and ensure its application on site as per the approved medical drawings (Bed-head units’ drawings, Whirlpool requirements, Pharmacies, MRI, etc…)
• Cross-Check material and manpower requirements as per Project Milestones.
• Assist QA/QC Engineer in raising and performing all inspections for the accomplished works at site.
• Coordinating with main / sub-contractors on daily basis following up site issues and work progress as per project schedule plan.

My mission was to offer the possibility to control the whole plant from the personal computer of the project engineer or the factory manager, instead of the old and expensive touch screen (Touch Panel). I worked on the S7-300 PLC developed by Siemens and its programs: Step 7, ProTool, WinCC flexible and Logo.
I also participated in the maintenance department of the factory, which gave me the experience to inspect the problems and faults in machines.
