• Develop inspection procedures, material receiving control and corrosion monitoring program.
• Lead RCA &RCFA investigations.
• Review and approve inspection reports, anomalies and provide solutions.
• Develop and follow up on execution of training plan for integrity and inspection staff.
• Collaboratively work with Global mechanical integrity team and consultants to ensure changes are consistent with best practice and learnt lessons are shared with other sites.
Lead a team of inspection and corrosion engineers to insure plant static equipment integrity.
Review and approve all inspection related reports and recommendations.
Lead and participate in RCA &RCFA investigations.
Establish an effective corrosion monitoring and control program.
Ensure proper implementation of material receiving quality control procedure.
Utilize conventional and non-conventional NDE Techniques to conduct.
Develop and follow up on execution of training plan for corrosion and inspection staff.
• Build and manage the Inspection organization for EMethanex Plant; liaising with the construction of the plant during Project phase, then leading the inspection and corrosion section for the plant in the operation phase.
• Plans, supervises, and coordinates all Inspection activities on EMethanex process facilities, issue recommendations of status and provide solutions.
• Utilizes conventional and non-conventional NDE Techniques to conduct intrusive and non-intrusive inspection techniques to monitor plant condition and assess the plant assets integrity.
• Leads and participate in static equipment chronic problems/ failure investigations and propose solutions.
• Prepares and provides the inspection section CAPEX, OPEX and annual budget.
• Participates by being a member in the company global static equipment team GSET to discuss assets performance and failure analysis, provide integrity strategies and transfer learned lessons.
Dolphin Energy Gas Plant Resbosibilities:
Conduct the periodic inspection plan on the static equipment both internally & externally as per the code intervals and the inspection department strategy.
Inspect plant stationary equipment by entering into vessels, boilers and towers, during shut downs, to check condition of equipment. Includes noting observations on cracks, pits, thinning and any other patterns of erosion, corrosion and any other interior failure.
Prepare interpretations of findings and analysis for failure as per international standards
Prepare inspection reports with all findings, abnormalities and issue recommendation to supervisor.
Prepare in service inspection procedures for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks…..etc
Prepare repair procedures for defects according to the codes and standards
Supervise subcontractor activities and revise reports before reporting to the inspection superintendent.
Attend, approve and issue test certificates for PSVs.
Witness On Welders Qualification Tests WQT.

-Prepare repaire procedures for defects according to codes and standards
-Prepare procedures for internal inspection and check list for external inspection according to code intervals
Make interpretations of findings, analysis for failure, prepare inspection reports with all findings, abnormalities and issue recommendation to supervisor.

Carry out as required N.D.T Activities (VI-UT-MPI-PT-RT & Interpretation) using the required instruments, tools and NDT equipment.
Supervise subcontractor activities and revise day to day reports before reporting to the GM.
Supervise all new piping projects in the refinery during fabrication until installing.
Supervise all painting and sandblasting activities using special tools like electrometer DFT, comparator and thermometer.
Participate in four refinery shut down activities till now.
Familiar with codes and standards like(API, .ASME, ASTM, NACE)
Follow all required safety procedures while carrying out the work.
Carry out all non-destructive tests(visual &optical inspection-magnetic particles inspection-ultraconic inspection-radiography inspection-dye penetrant inspection)
Review of welding procedure and welder qualification according to the standards and project specification.
Witness on welding procedure qualification and welder tests.
Monitoring the welding activities and welder performance management system.
Review of NDE procedure and witness of tests performed on site.
Review of NDE results and completion of tests according to standards.
Review of PWHT procedures and witness of hardness test.
Monitoring the hydrostatic test for pressurized vessels, equipment.
