(SCCT) Part of A.P. Moller Maersk Group
* Directs the activities of SCCT to support the HSE programs by providing advice and guidance to the Company
Senior Management;
* Assisting the Head of HSSE for the development of an annual budget recommendations and implementation;
* Coaches, trains, apprises safety team (8 supervisor+ 6 assistant instructor) & set development plan to improve
their capabilities;
* Formulate, develop and review internal HSE policies, procedures, practices and other guidance necessary to
ensure compliance;
* Lead Emergency team in emergency circumstances and ensure from implementation of emergency response
plan;
* lead investigation committee in investigating severe accidents ( Fatalities, HSI & HIPO ones) and dangerous
occurrences and ensure proper records are completed and submitted;
* Updating the SOPs of the department regarding all tasks carried out in the whole plant “aided by a
department representatives”
* Liaise as necessary with Governmental and relevant authorities, and provide assistance and cooperation
concerning audits and remedial actions;
* Formulate and prepare scheduled HSE audits for managing contractors to be carried out by supervisors;
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these assessments;
• Supervise all construction activities for terminal phase 2 (digging, landscape, buildings, scaffolding, and welding, cutting, grinding, lifting, confined space entering….etc.).
• Assist in implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the incident and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated throughout the Company /whole APM group and are incorporated into the program, if necessary;
• Formulate training plan for SCCT Staff in relation to HSE topics through create and customize different training material to match terminal work requirements;
• Supervises training sessions which conducted by HSE staff to employees and subcontractors;
• Prepare all legal statistics needed and official document to meet legal requirement;
• Follow-up with SCCT proc-dept HSE requirements from local/foreign market.
