Head of the structural section leads a team of the technical office engineers
responsible of the following duties but not limited to other duties if required
:-
1- The production of the shop drawings for the different elements of
the project.
2- Issuing RFI's to clarify the discrepancies in the contract design
issues.
3- Working with the QS and the commercial teams to identify the
claims and the variations where applicable.
4- Coordination with site construction managers to ensure achieving
the planned programme and ensure the site progress.
5- Identification and solving the technical problems through the
technical meetings and the workshops with the Engineer.
6- Assisting the planning department to build a better view about their
expected plans and any expected obstacles if any.
7- Assisting the procurement department in securing the required
materials in the different work stages.
8- Resolving site related issues and review the weekly project
activities.
9- Communicating with the different sub-contractors to ensure full
coordination with different disciplines and solving the related
technical problems to ensure smooth execution on site.
10- Working closely with the nominated subcontractors for the different
project packages.
11- In certain stage of the project, leading the architectural team as well
in addition to the structural team.
12- Working closely with the Engineer and the Client to solve the
related technical and progress problem by finding proactive
solutions and paths.

Project
DIFC Development - Gate village Project mid-rise buildings with common
podium level and 4 basements.
Duty Responsibilities -
Following up the site activities on daily basis, preparing the reports,
coordination of the technical and design issues.
To ensure that the quality policy is fully implemented and maintained by the
Contractor and sub-contractors.
Documents review and verification of marked up drawing and issuing
certification of as built confirmation.
Conduct and coordinate progress meetings with Client AND Contractors
and resolving site related technical issues and review the weekly project
activities.

Projects
1- Spring villas project in Dubai.
2- Redesign and engineering value for various types of buildings in
MIRDIF area with AL-KHATIB and ALAMI such as residential, club
houses and hotels, post-tension concrete system was used to save
cost and time and enhance the architectural requirements.
3- Redesign and engineering value of 6 towers in the Jumirah Beach
Residence project, up to 48 story buildings, my job is to redesign
the slabs and the horizontal elements into post-tension system to
reduce the cost and to save time in the construction stage, also
coordination between the P/T sub-contractor and the main
contractor, finally with the main consultant which was M/S Hyder
consulting middle east.
4- Redesign and engineering value of various types of buildings in
Qatar.
Duty

Leading a team of design engineers in design activities and coordination.
Analysis, stability calculations, post tension prestressed design and design
of different types of reinforced concrete structures.
Coordination of projects with clients and contractors

Project.
1- SAHARA shopping mall in al Nahda area between Sharjah and
Dubai \{ about 250, 000, 000 AED \}
2- Residential and commercial buildings in Sharjah, Ajman and Dubai
up to 45 story buildings.
3- Engineering value of various projects proposing the post-tension
concrete system as an alternative to save cost and time and
enhance the architectural requirements.
Duty Responsibilities
Analysis, stability calculations, post tension prestressed design and design
of different types of reinforced concrete structures.

Renewing of the main runway (05R-23L).
