Duties & Responsibilities:
• Serve as nucleus of the company’s emerging water treatment section by providing necessary consultations for the proposal team for the ongoing water treatment plants projects inside and outside the country in addition to day-to-day Engineering works.
• Help with drafting emerging water team key members’ job descriptions to optimally fit with the new water section business objectives and company vision to establish the specialist stand-alone water treatment section to take over all company future water treatment business.
• Support Sales Manager in pursuit activities including effort estimation, division of responsibilities with the partners and help with development of water treatment plants’ technical offers.
• Responsible for the delivery of all design deliverables for the water treatment section’s mechanical design, especially the design delivery of all Pump stations, STP, RO desalination, Demin Plants and industrial waste water treatment plants in both municipal and thermal power sectors.
• Supervision and leadership of the section engineers and Draftsmen including Senior Engineers.
• Identify training and development needs of engineering personnel and suggest needed training plan.
• Ensure that all Section Personnel understand and implement Safety and QA/QC systems and procedures.
Consultant Design Review and Construction Supervision role for Sewage Treatment Plant - SBR technique - 30MLD.
• Promote HSE initiatives within the engineering disciplines specifically and in the office in general.
• Responsible for the delivery of all design deliverables for the wet utilities mechanical design, especially the design delivery of all Pumps, STP, RO Plants and industrial waste water treatments.
• Responsible for design reports/letter writing, customer meetings, inter disciplinary design coordination, and keeping MoM records.
• Ensure that all Department Personnel understand and implement QA/QC systems and procedures, including EMS, Squad check, document checking procedures, etc.
• Overall supervision and leadership of the Utility Engineers and Draftsmen including Senior Engineers.
• Preparation and management of forward workload plan for engineering resources.
• Ensure that the Management of Change process is understood and effectively implemented.
• Monitoring performance of Utility team on projects to ensure compliance with budgets and schedules.
• Support Sales Manager in Pursuit activities including man-hour estimation and development of method statements.
• Provision of competent and adequate disciplines resources to support projects through recruitment and Agency Contractors through effective workload planning.
• Identify Training and development needs of engineering personnel and implement an annual training plan.
• Manage, monitor and control field organization.
• Maintain effective communication between project personnel and Authority.
• Perform all post contract quantity surveying services.
• Supervise quality control and inspection.
• Implement all administrative aspects of contract.
• Monitor construction operations and recommend means and methods to improve the operations.
• Monitor and process shop drawings and project materials submittals.
• Participate in advice of any development of variations to cost/schedule.
• Conduct job meetings.
• Review, analyze and process contractors’ claims.
• Coordination the issuing of operation / maintenance documents.
• Manage the implementation of commissioning requirements.

Water & Environment Project Department at Consultancy Corporation of ‘PARSONS International Limited’ - Qatar.
o Perform complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
o Prepares engineering information from CAD drawings.
o Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes. Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.
o Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
o Review supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analysis.
o Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets and other construction documents.
o Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters and lower level Engineers working on the same project.
o Supervises field bench-scale, pilot-scale, sampling and data collection activities.
o Recommends and prepares technical papers.
o May act in advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.
o Completes other responsibilities associated with position as may be appropriated.
o Participates in the compilation of process design data; finalizes process scheme & equipment selection.
o Prepares preliminary design, drawings, detailed drawings and fabrication details.
o Participates with the design head in the final selection of process, plant and equipment and in commissioning and troubleshooting as required.
o Liaises with project & proposals engineers to insure smooth implementation of design, carries out design checks and certification as required.
o Carries out any other duties any other duties related to his area of expertise as assigned by the manager & Directors.
o Co-ordinates with other electrical, civil and instrumentation engineers.
o Prepares BOQ, material list with specifications.

o Monitoring Contractual technical requirements and fit to Technical Specifications and Engineering Datasheets.
o Checking design of all mechanical Equipment.
o Cause design of P&I Diagrams, General Arrangement Drawings as well Detail Drawings.
o Define Engineering- and Equipment- packages for delivery by others.
o Making sure observation for using Standards Methods and Procedures.
o Creating of technical Bid- comparisons.
o Leading technical negotiations with suppliers.
o Supplier- Correspondence during execution phase, as well Correspondence with Consultants and Clients on behalf of Project manager
o Setting and reporting at Project team and Engineering Management.
o Attendance at interdisciplinary reviews of technical documents.
o Supporting Project management for time scheduling.
o Execution Inspections at supplier’s factory and at site during erection phase.
o Supporting at commissioning phase.
o Control cost, consumption of hours against budget and to meet one's deadlines.
