Working with GE Power as an I&C Commissioning Engineer in an Ultra-supercritical (USC) Coal-fired power plant “Hassyan Power plant 4*600 MW“, with responsibilities of commission all the field instruments and troubleshooting from the Engineering DCS.
Working with Siemens S.A.E (through hiring agent) as an I&C commissioning engineer to commission, calibrate and troubleshoot all the field instruments, check out all I/O loops, made all logic and graphics modifications necessary and performed all start-up testing, at a Power Plant with eight modules, 4800MW CCPP.
Some of my Responsibilities:
- Provide support in the site service, configuration, troubleshooting and upgrade of DCS.
- Assure product quality by testing finished products and system capabilities.
- Installation, Calibration and Preventive maintenance of Field Instrument like: Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature Transmitter, control valve, motorized valve, Positioner, I/P converter, Indicator & controller, all types of mechanical gauges and SOV and all types of switches.
- Site Inspection/ walk-down, project work & manpower planning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the safe and timely preparation and execution of the project Instrument commissioning
- work scope, in adherence with project safety targets, procedures and practices.
- Accountable for ensuring all instrument commissioning is carried out in accordance with project commissioning specifications, standards and procedures.
- Accountable for developing the project instrument commissioning strategy and approving instrument procedures - Accountable for ensuring instrument commissioning is carried out in accordance with project schedules and budget. Key aims and objectives
- To play an active role in ensuring that all project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded.
- To process safe completion of designated instrument commissioning activities in line with the project schedule and mile‐stones in a consistent and timely manner.
- To assist in maintenance of the project budget through diligence and utilization of efficient and working practices.
- Supervise the safe completion of the project instrument pre-commissioning/commissioning work-scope
- Supervise and support the project Instrument Commissioning Team.
- Provide Fire & Gas input into project instrument system design during the project design phase.
- Provide instrument commissioning input to the project plans and schedules
Working with Siemens AG through INP Austria GmbH as a field I&C commissioning engineer to commission, calibrate and design all the T3000 instruments, check out all I/O loops, made all logic and graphics modifications necessary and performed all start-up testing, at a Power Plant with eight modules, 4800MW CCPP.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review of P&ID, Preparation of Instrument Index, Technical specifications
- & Datasheets for Process instrumentation and control systems like control valves, pressure relief valves, temperature sensors & transmitter, pressure instruments, level instruments, flow meters, DCS / PLC systems, Fire and Gas detectors, etc.
- Sizing and selections of instruments.
- Design, evaluate, and install sensors and instrumentation systems to meet test requirements.
- Provide design of instrumentation as applied to developmental test engines.
- Loop Checks for the DCS, Cold Commissioning (CFT) and assistance during Hot Commissioning (HFT).
- Site Inspection/ walk-down, project work & manpower planning.
- Technical interaction with the client and the functional team of SIEMENS.
- Operation maintenance, Erection, Commissioning of DCS (T3000)/ Field Instrumentation. Troubleshooting and maintenance of DCS & PLC problem by checking and modification for ladder & FBD programming.
- Able to new input and output assigning in logic and SCADA graphic as required for the process.
- Redundancy checking for the controller to Server/operation station communication and marshaling panel side check.
- Installation, Calibration and Preventive maintenance of Field Instrument like: Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature Transmitter, control valve, motorized valve, Positioner, I/P converter, Indicator & controller, all types of mechanical gauges and
SOV and all types of switches.
- Experience in handling various calibrator (Low and high pressure, Temperature, Loop Calibrator & HART communicator).
Main Responsibilities:
- Administer, manage and report on the installation safety design process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's) which define key system parameters such as set points, control sequences, flows, pressures and temperatures.
- Develop Electrical Schematics, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Factory Acceptance
documents, Wiring Diagrams and Instrument Lists that meets Standards, which includes hazardous/explosive environments
- Intrinsically Safe Systems and Customer Networking Interface to Safety Instrumentation Systems, DCS and MCC.
- Generate bills of material per customer specification and electrical/environmental
code.
- Evaluate customer specifications to ensure appropriate material documents and instrumentation are being supplied.
- Software experience including but not limited to AutoCAD Electrical, Medusa, Microsoft Excel/ Word / PowerPoint.
5-year college program which focuses on the conceptualization, design and development of electronic, computer and communication products, systems, services and processes.
