* E2E network health monitoring team that shall be responsible for the overall assurance of Etisalat Misr
network performance, integrity through the early detection and flag raising of the network issues that have not
been detected by the normal MS functions and day to day operations to ensure that there are more than one
layer of monitoring horizontally, vertically and cross functionally.
Key Responsibilities:
 Check the functionality of Protection For (MW N+1 links & core service & MW ring &ERPS &
 Ensure the optimum traffic distribution and load sharing over TX nodes or boards
 Ensure that MW live configuration is matching Design
 Ensure that the SW releases of all the nodes/servers are as per contracts or latest recommendations
 Audit the E2E route of all NMS created TDM and Eth service along MW and FTX nodes, create trails and
clean up unused services

Key Responsibilities:
 Supervision the fiber NW splicing according to plans and test it by OTDR and provide customer with test
results (soft / hard) copies
 Commissioning for OSN3500 with fiber test by OTDR and Power meter and E1 test by BER tester and
provide the customer a binder containing all results and manuals
 configure MSP ring protection for Asmara NW with 6 OSNs
 Follow up the installation progress, maintenance for RTN620, RTN950 links
 Provide training for customer staff for (Transmission NW, OSN3500 HW description, OSN3500 installation,
commissioning, configuration, O&M using NMS, use measurement equipments like BER tester, Power
meter, OTDR)
 Support the Installing for Access NW FTTC equipments (MDU, OLT, ONT) and Fiber NW connections
according to BOQ

Key Responsibilities:
 Monitoring alarms, across Transmission Network.
 Dispatching TT, 1st level technical support to field Engineers and supporting them in handling the
alarms.
 Work with Huawei circuit switching equipments SDH series Metro 1500, SDH series Optix 2500 /
Optix 3500 and RTN 620 series, RTN 950, RTN980 series.
 Ethernet configuration & QOS applying &troubleshooting (IUB/IP - ABIS/IP - AOIP - Uplink)
 Handling alarm activity and quality of service across all Transmission NW using relevant NMS.
 Familiar with O&M and technical support work flow.
 Implement and perform transmission CR's.
 Handling traffic outage of SDH & PDH equipment at NOC in co-ordination with field engineers.
