• Provide Translation and Interpretation services to facilitate effective communication.
• Translate various diplomatic notes, newspaper articles, MOU and letters.
• Plan and coordinate public events, cultural exchanges, and official receptions to enhance diplomatic relations and cultural understanding.
• Maintain and update the Embassy’s social media accounts and website to engage with the public and disseminate information.
• Build relationships with local government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders to strengthen diplomatic ties.
• Promote the foreign policy objectives and interests of the Mauritius by engaging with the local institutions.
• Ensure effective communication line (including marasim/protocol e-portal) with Saudi Authorities and different organizations.
• Ensure adherence to diplomatic protocols, etiquette, and procedures during official events and interactions (including Hajj arrangements).
• Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to address emergencies or security incidents involving Embassy staff or facilities.
• Maintain a high degree of cultural sensitivity and awareness to avoid misunderstandings or diplomatic incidents.
• Advocate for the Embassy’s positions and policies with local institutions and organizations.
• Work as Embassy’s representative to deal all matters with the MOFA, Jawazat or any other Saudi Authorities.
• Assist the smooth running of the Embassy and manage work schedules to meet deadlines (Including procurement matters).
• Supporting the Ambassador and diplomatic staff in further developing the network of political, economic and commercial contacts and interlocutors.
• Translates and prepares correspondence in English/Arabic.
• Wide spectrum of translation works.
• Business (letters, investment, joint venture, contracts).
• Translation of financial SOPs.
• Sets up files or all translated materials for future reference.
• Writes notes and prepares reports on performed work.

• Performs all other translation works upon request.
• Manage the CEO’s schedule and appointments.
• Prioritize and deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence, e-mails and requests.
• Determine the urgency of response required.
• Coordinate conferences, meetings, and travel reservations.
• Greet visitors and callers, handle inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate department(s)/staff member(s) according to their needs.
