Projects Controls:
Leading the controls of the ongoing projects for initiating, planning, monitoring, controlling, communicating, and closing out projects costs and time schedules to explain and guide all the stakeholders in gathering and analyzing projects data to keep cost and time on track by using the following tools:
- Preparing the monthly project reports Progress, Actual Cost, Productivity, and any other reports for achieving the target of the project.
- Preparing the monthly project CPI & SPI status using EV.
- Control the execution expenditure versus the claim invoices.
- Preparing the monthly management dashboard for project status.
- Create a total project budget, ETC, and EAC for direct and indirect costs, quarterly and annual reviews, and update the cash flow according to the project execution plan.
- Preparing the project requirements (Resources & Materials) look ahead plan (Base & Quarterly).
- Allocate the resources between projects for effective productivity, and follow up with the relevant departments to not exceed the deadline for requesting project materials.
- Control the project direct and indirect requirements. By reviewing, approving, and recording the project requests, POs, agreements, or assignments.
- Review and approve the project monthly progress invoices for the subcontract and the client.
Estimation:
Initial studying, preparing an initial summary, and a rough estimate of the newly received bidding projects to decide the submission decision with the higher management.
Leading the estimation team for delivering high-quality commercial, technical, and IKTVA proposals on critical or normal deadlines by:
- Preparing the estimate guidelines, time plan, and distributing the tasks.
- Working closely and coordinating with other concerned departments.
- Overseeing the estimation of direct costs with a complete analysis.
- Addressing bid clarification and queries to clients and consultants.
- Preparing the indirect cost study, project staff organization, and all related operational costs.
- Review and approve the final estimated price with the higher management.
- Hand over the awarded projects to the Operation Department.
Work Scope:
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Checking and revision the budget.
- Preparing weekly and Bi Weekly report for the execution versus to IPC's (submittal, approval and cash collected).
- Preparing monthly status report using EV.
- Tracking, allocating and recording the Actual Cost through the software ERP system.
- Creating the budget and ETC for direct and indirect cost.
- Assisting on decision making by preparing a complete cost analysis for the critical BOQ items.
- Predict completion dates, Budget estimate at completion and prepare look ahead reports.
- Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.

- Dareen East Beach Phase II and Parks Improvements - Jubail - Royal Commission - Total Amount (177, 837, 314) SAR.
- Site Development of Downstream Industrial Phase II - Jubail - Royal Commission - Total Amount (95, 366, 094.57) SAR.
Work Scope:
- Reading the contract, general and special conditions for projects and summarize the important elements.
- Scrutiny of tender documents.
- Separation the BOQ, drawings and specifications for items, and send the RFQ.
- Follow up the suppliers, subcontractors and respond to their enquiries (Procurement).
- Attend the meetings and contact with the client and consultant to clarify any enquiries about the projects, writing the report after the site visit and meetings.
- Negotiations with suppliers and subcontracts on both technical and commercial aspects of items.
- Comparison Studies based on suppliers and subcontractors Quotations.
- Break down for items (Material, Manpower, Equipment…Etc.) and calculating the quantity’s for affecting items.
- Review and approved the cost price about the tender projects with managers.
