Principal functions:

Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Data Center technologies, systems, standards, operations and procedures related to eHosting service. Administrate a regional data centers and ensure proper monitoring and support provided to data center customers. Provide technical guidance and support to other DCO staff in order to give efficient and proficient support to Data Center customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and proficient support to Data Center customers.
• Ensure proper monitoring of all Data Center services and proper reporting for any abnormality or problems to concerned sections and management.
• Administrate a regional data center and ensure proper data center environment to host customers’ servers, IT equipments and devices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other DCO staff in order to give efficient and proficient support to Data Center customers.
• Supervise Data Center Administration outsourcing contract Engineers, ensure proper monitoring of all Data Center services and ensure proper reporting by the contractor’ engineers for any abnormality or problems to concerned sections and management.
• Assist in devising and implementing appropriate working procedures, standards and guidelines for Data Center Operations functions to ensure prompt, efficient and reliable infrastructure and eHosting solutions support to Data Center customers.
• Monitor the shift schedule of DCO staff in order to have 24x7 availability of staff in all data centers. Ensure availability of DCO staff for on site & call-out support.
• Assist in facilitating Data Center Site visits to delegates / customers when needed.
• Demonstrate awareness and concern for quality standards, security guidelines and safety regulations.
• Undertakes full responsibility of all equipment in his area. Perform any other related duties as required.
