- Review scope of works for consultants/specialists and secures approval/clarifications by management to forwarding for contracts department action.
- Act as Service support for the development of major projects engineered locally which includes: - Co-coordinate the finalization of the design and preparation of drawings, specifications and bills of materials, acquisition of data for assigned discipline’s projects, engineered by consultant/specialist, or managing engineers.
- Prepare technical purchase specifications for procurement of new DCS packages and Existing modifications. - Provide technical input for bid’s evaluation and ensures their Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) complies with company requirements.
- Recommend and supervise the execution of DCS packages and Existing modifications and upgrading activities. - Control and screen the design of job/managing engineer’s project to ensure that approved ADNOC DGS standards, codes and specifications are met
- Review work progress
- Initiate and prepare requisitions for purchase of Spare parts and recommended DCS system software and Hardware updates/site requirements.
- Perform other related duties as: - Conducting special studies and answering technical queries, - Contributing to the preparation of the department’s budget
- Prepare training and development programmers for new engineers
- Conducting DCS courses for Engineers and supervisors within the company, - Adhering to and implementing approved SAFETY regulation /QUALITY with the unit
I graduated from UAE University in Al In City in Academic year 2003/2004 from the Electrical Engineering Department, with major of Electronics and Communication stream.
