 Lent professional expertise for 55 km of high speed road network for cars and trucks, with total road area of 4.3 million m2 connecting Messaied to Salwa road. Advised project staff on operational activities related to 5 Interchanges, 4 main bridges, 4 ramp bridges, 14 truck underpasses and 11 cycle underpasses.
 Oversee utility corridor accommodating utilities such as High Voltage, MV, LV lines, 165 km of cable laying, 5.6 km of Potable water lines, 92 km of TSE lines, 86 km of Q-tel lines, 62 km of QAF fibre optics lines and storm water drainage system. Enabled protection for 12 km of life Qatar Petroleum pipes.

Description: Waste water treatment & Water reclamation plant (600, 000 m3/day)

• 2011: Damietta 500 MW Gas Turbines Project (US$ 350 Million); Egypt
Description: Fast track emergency power project consisting of 4 Gas turbine frame 9E 125 MW/unit by GE. Accomplished the engineering, procurement and construction in a record breaking time of 7 months, and utilized excellent command of engineering practices to lead completion of civil work (1100 piles, pile caps, turbine pedestals, stack foundations, underground networks for gas, water and cables, GIS building, admin and control building, roads). Also, led the electromechanical work for Generator step up transformers 165 MVA 15 kv/220K, GCB& IPB, gas and fuel stations, fire fighting substation, water treatment and tanks.

• 2009/2010: ADWEA BOOT WWTP PROJECT -ISTP1 (US$ 500 Million); Abu Dhabi, UAE
Description: Executed water and waste water treatment project (350 000 m3/Day) comprising of pumping stations, screening & filtering stations, primary/secondary sedimentation tanks, aeration tanks, anaerobic digesters (The tanks were lined with various coating types: PVC- Epoxy & Polyurea), and large under and above ground services network (power and control cables - GRP, HDPE & PVC pipes of different dia. up to 2000mm ), treated water tank, buildings, roads and landscape.

• 2008/2009: Solid Waste Management Project (US$ 160 Million); Abu Dhabi, UAE

• 2007: Danet Abu- Dhabi Infrastructure & Chilled Water Network Projects (US$ 45 Million); UAE
Description: Areas of focus included sewerage, storm water, water supply, telecommunication, irrigation, electrical, gas, chilled water and road networks.

Selected to lead the restoration and repair of Piers for King Abdalaziz Naval Base; one of the most complex and large scale Marine infrastructures projects with a budget of US $75 million.

Highlights:
• Led the reconstruction, refurbishment and reinstatement of 12 wharves, 6 piers, floating pier and the dry dock including the related Syncrolift and service trenches to steer achievement of design, time and cost objectives.
• Skinned all the underwater piles using hydro jetting, and re-skinned them using GFRP jacketing and high performance concrete to ensure peak strength and improve structural integrity.
• Directed the removal, supply and re-installation of all electromechanical services and networks to prioritize top operating conditions and prevention of breakdowns.

Highlights:
• 2001: Played an integral role in enabling HCC to be a pioneer in management system certification due to adherence to QMS standards for ISO 9001-2000, EMS: ISO 14001-1996, OH&SMS: OHSAS 18001-1999.
• Achieved continuous enhancement in procedural efficiency and cost savings at 35 major project sites across India including Nuclear reactors, Dams, Highways, Cable stayed bridges, Under Ground Metro, Tunnels, Pipelines Marine Works, etc.
• Developed and implemented management system targeting consistent improvement in processes, client relationship management, employee health/safety, and assured alignment with SO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 guidelines.
• Established and managed the R&D center to focus efforts towards development of best practices through innovation in construction material and concrete technology; published papers on key subjects including concrete durability and self compacting concrete.
• R&D Center earned recognition by Ministry of Science and Technology (GoI), and accreditation by National accrediting board as per the requirements of ISO 17025; secured status as a signed number of (MoU) with International R&D centers in Canada and USA.
• Accomplished reduction in incident rate by prioritizing timely hazards identifications, risk assessment and compliance with risk control policies.
• Enforced environment protection programs to eliminate impact of construction activities; drove sustainable development to optimize cement consumption in concrete production through partial replacement with fly ash, and decrease GHG emission.
• Attained lowest standard deviation in testing results of all construction products: concrete, asphalt, embankment, welding.

Provided direction to technical departments of the international joint venture to enable construction of Phase IB of the Lesotho highland water project- largest cross border water control and development project facilitating the delivery of water from Lesotho to South Africa, and the development of hydro-electric power in Lesotho. The scope of this project included a series of dams, reservoirs, and hydro-electric plant and transfer tunnels to carry water to the Vall river system in South Africa. Mohale Dam consists mainly of concrete face rock fill dam (146 m high& 7.5 millions cu. m of rock fill and transition material, concrete lined ungated spillway 300 m long, and two horse shoe-shaped diversion tunnels.

Highlights:u**
• Conceptualized and introduced alternative design for the dam's upstream face; conducted negotiations and research, and communicated cost/time savings, and improvement of water tightness to client to secure approval.
• Developed and implemented Quality management system; conceived and implemented the cost control system to ensure project completion within available funds, and optimized resource allocation.
• Devised new inspection methods to confirm that levels of settlements and water leakage remain below permissible limits; managed the contract administration leading to successful realization of several claims.
• Introduced concrete mixes for the mass concrete sections of spillway to control heat of hydration utilizing 40% fly ash.
• Formulated a system streamlining quarry and rock fill process including plans for access roads and resource provision, thus resulting in 7.5 million cubic meter of rock fill in under 2 years.
• Established Health, safety and environmental management system; achieved lowest accident rate, longest accident free period, protection of flora/fauna, and rehabilitation of all the project areas above full supply level of the reservoir.
