Responsible for managing cross-functional teams in a mixed environment of projects and operations, aiming to re-innovate the services provided by the IT department to all offices across the kingdom.
Duties:
• Define goals and benefits and develop structured plans.
• Manage and track projects costing as per the agreed framework to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Coordinate financing and procurement process across all program components.
• Provide support and coaching for project team members.
• Develop/modify service level agreement as required, to establish and operate vendor evaluation process to ensure product selection and on-going vendor support are adequate for the needs of the program.
• Manage proactively all contractual matters related to the project and negotiate variations and changes.
Network upgrade and optimization
The scope of the project covers the replacement of the old CAT5 network with CAT6 network in 12 building, redesign the network and upgrade all network active components.
Directed by top management to step-in, the project was 9 months behind schedule and at risk.
Examined the project problems by investigating the site and holding multiple meetings with
HRDF SMART Meeting rooms implementation.
The project was assigned to me in the last phase. The implemented solution have a lot of problems which caused client dissatisfaction. My role was to implement a remedy to parts of the project which can be fixed, and re-design the implemented solution.
BATHEL AL KHAIR infrastructure implementation
The project scope covers the implementation of network infrastructure, IP telephone, video conference, CCTV and smart meeting rooms for offices floor.
Responsible for:
Supervising the BOQ preparation.
Evaluating and selecting the vendors and sub-contractors.
Managing site specifications with construction team to align with network infrastructure and smart meeting rooms requirements.
Procurement management.
Project planning and controlling.
