•The DC Consist of 4 different sites.
•The Data Center include Microsoft Platform, Cisco Infrastructure, Tivoli SANS, with different type of services such as ( CISCO ASA firewall, Microsoft TMG. Microsoft Exchange, IBM IDS and other services).
Duties
•Coordinate the ongoing activities of the Data Center Services team, inclusive of oversight for the related IT project portfolio as well as ongoing incident response management for supported
systems.
•Oversee and coordinate lifecycle management for all server and storage infrastructure architecture, business continuance and service restoration strategies, and ongoing roadmap for remote access services.
• Participate as a member of the IT Infrastructure & Operations management team in creating and maintaining the governance processes of the organization’s infrastructure architecture, data
centers, telecommunications, networks, communications systems and client engineering.
•Work closely with other IT managers to develop IT infrastructure strategies, lead the migration to new technologies, and address ongoing operational needs throughout the firm.
•Lead strategic data center planning to achieve firm business goals by prioritizing technology
•initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies.
•Continually evaluate the current state of the firm’s data center architecture and services against firm goals and objectives, and adapt operational strategies to maintain alignment
The project is considered a sub project from a big contract signed between IBM and CCAD for full CCAD building technology establish, it consists from the following 5 work streams:
-Build a 5 years Portal roadmap for Cleveland clinic (CCAD)
-Design and build full 4 scalable SharePoint farms in 3 locations
-Build CCAD collaboration portal
-conduct full and smooth migration from the current portal to the new portal environment
-Implement and integrate Fast search engine.
My Duties :
•Chair monthly Governance Forum consisting of business and IT role-players.
•Enforce Governance Plan.
•Manage projects, resources and budget.
•Develop / manage best practices for project execution and management.
•Identify and resolve conflicts in the team.
•Facilitate client and team meetings.
•Communicate progress effectively to senior management.
• Responsible for providing tactical management, and that the project administrative/leadership support to project teams, in order to ensure proceeds within the agreed tolerances of time/budget and delivers a fit for purpose outcome to the customer.
• Duties:
• Managing IT projects and driving project team from start through to completion.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary global project teams to deliver Technology projects of varying size and complexity, focusing specifically on software projects.
• Creating and maintaining project plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Takes ownership of any customer concerns, & rectifying them.
• Negotiate the use of resources in a matrix management environment.
• Bringing to the attention of senior managers any circumstances causing delays, concern or requiring higher level authority to proceed.
• Identifying business development opportunities.
• Managing project reporting, project reviews and project steering meetings.
• Negotiating and influencing up to Director/VP level.
. Maintains a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards.
. Keeps immediate supervisor well-informed of activities and recommends corrective actions.
. Manages and maintains Microsoft Windows applications and systems including but not limited to Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft ISA
. Manages the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the organization’s local area network hardware/software.
Manage and Maintain all Cisco Routers and Switches and AP.
. Manages network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing & maintaining routers; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; resetting passwords; establishing e-mail addresses; assessing and reporting operational status; performing backups and restores; etc.
. Conducts technology orientation, security awareness sessions and exit briefing for all staff; prepares technology and systems for new and exiting staff.
. Ensures technology documents/certificates such as product registrations, SSL certificates, maintenance agreements, service contracts, etc. related to technology operations and/or technology services are evaluated, updated and processed.
. Implements, administrates and maintains databases.
. As needed and appropriate but no less than annually, provides written technology policy guidance to managers, supervisors, staff and consumers/participants.
. Designs, develops and maintains web-based applications including websites and intranets. Continuously improves the organization's Web site and Intranet; adds new functionality and improves user ability to maintain without technical support.

. Analyzes technology requirements and develops functional specifications. Conducts comparative analysis and competitive bidding when necessary.
