Job description
• working in both indoor and outdoor environment in all weather conditions following safety instructions.
• Scheduling the deployment of personnel, dredging sand filling, auxiliary equipment, and subcontractors.
• Ensuring that the duties assigned to me are executed safely and without risks for the health, quality, and environment, both according to the customers requirements and those of the company.
• Responsible for the safety and health of the employees and subcontractors, including the environmental performance.
• Liaised with industry and dredge to ensure standard proceedings.
• Performing daily routine inspections on dredging related equipment .
• Using maintenance service manual to order parts, trace and solve faults.
• Following equipment production rate and the operators efficiency up to reach the optimum level.
• Monitoring operation of plant and dredger, making necessary adjustments and maintenance on them.
• Following up maintenance plan for all hydraulic equipment as pumps, motors, and winches.
• Periodically inspecting the dredge pump components and replacing the corroded parts.
• Responsible for technical support to the site Dredging Team and the Home Office Engineering Team.
• Liaise with the Home Office Engineering Team to ensure that Contractor queries are answered and to
provide feedback to the Home Office Engineering Team as required.
• Daily reporting to and consultation with the Project Manager, the Project Team and the Head Office on the operational activities, more in particular on the process of the works for which im responsible.
• Reporting of accidents or particular events.
• Ensure dredging compliance with the approved design, providing onsite technical assistance and
guidance on the structural design of marine infrastructure, dredging and hydrographic surveying.
