Role:
Reporting to the “Projects Director of Utilities”, my role include, but are not limited to:
 Liaise with Business Development, Proposals and Commercial Dept's to review contract and proposal handover documentation prior to commencement of the Project.
 Preparing RFP’s, review and negotiation pricing of new contract bids and their impact on P&L, preparing and closing subcontract agreements, reviews of poor performing contracts.
 Identify and communicate the objectives for the project team in accordance with the contract terms, scope of work and company policy - Communicate these objectives to the project team, Department Managers and Client.
 Preparing & progressive updating of project execution plan, project schedule, identify resource & manpower requirements, preparation of other project management related documents.
 Leading site construction activities and team, external subcontractors, industry experts & vendors from start to closeout.
 Close coordination with design/engineering team site to ensure availability of all necessary information for site team on time.
 Monitoring planned scope & cost baselines against actual progress and initiate corrective actions where required in addition to applying forecasting methods and controlling variations/variation claims against original scope.
 Liaison with Finance on payment claims and subcontractor’s payments status to ensure works will run smoothly without interruptions.
 Supervision of planning & procurement to ensure required resources (materials, human, equipment, etc...) are present for current and future activities to ensure that procurement matters do not act as a barrier to progress.
 Directing HSE & QC teams to ensure all works are carried out with high standards, in a safe manner and responsible for identifying any potential risks that might arise to devise and implement strategies to prevent or mitigate them.
 Providing company management & clients with constant executive reports related to work progress, cost status, arising risks, HSE status.
