Recruited as Senior Accountant and promoted after 3-months to Group Budget Controller. Promoted to Group Financial Controller in 2014 reporting first to the CFO and more recently directly to the CEO.

◼️ Key deliverables include: audit, tax, stat reporting, compliance, financial planning, analysis (FP&A), corporate finance management, working capital, treasury, and shareholder relations.
◼️ Provide leadership and direction to a multi-skilled team that includes a Financial Controller for each business unit with clerical teams below them.
◼️ Ensured and mitigated BREXIT impact and recent Forex risks through adequate contractual terms and conditions and timely remittances to the HO.
◼️ Successfully lead Oracle ERP Fusion (Cloud Based) implementation project for the Group and its subsidiaries in multiple countries, the modules implemented ERP Finance, Procurement & Projects.
◼️ Project appraisals include: Saudi MOFA Visa outsourcing Project (32 Countries), F&B Projects (SSP), Airport Projects ( Duty Free Aer Rianta, Baggage handling - Excess Baggage UK)), Airport Lounges (Domestic, International & Jeddah New terminal ), Swissport Ground Handling Project, Saudi Labour Ministry Projects & Ministry of Hajj & Umrah PPP Project.
◼️ Successfully handled M&A deals from valuation to deal closure, acquisition of target companies in Egypt, Tunisia & Libya. Divested Group subsidiaries across MENA & SEA.
◼️ Developed all financial policies and procedures for the Group and its subsidiaries and ensured the configuration in ERP application.
