Responsibilities
Performing routine testing of raw materials, in process material, finished products and
stability testing.
Performing assay, dissolution, content uniformity, disintegration and other tests.
Handling of laboratory instruments, Test solutions and chemicals used for analysis.
Performing validation of analytical test method for new and re-registration products.
Creating/Update specifications
Qualification of new Suppliers through full analysis.
Monitoring of water system by sampling, testing, releasing along with log book entry
and documentation and record tracking
Experienced in identification and troubleshooting of analytical and minor instrumental
problems
Performing calibration and maintenance of the laboratory equipment
Practical knowledge of USP and British Pharmacopoeia
Excellent command in using and troubleshooting HPLC, UV, (USP I, II and IV)
Member in the internal Audit team.
Supervised analysts in Quality Control Lab.
Worked within the laboratory in a team environment; assisted with QC initiatives;
actively participated in QC projects and team meetings
Prepare and implement plans for training of newly hired Analytical analysts in the
section
Full Experience in using the following instruments:
HPLC, UV-Visible spectrophotometer, TLC, Tablet hardness tester, Friability tester,
Disintegration test unit, Dissolution tester, PH meter, Conductivity meter, Refract
meter, Melting point apparatus, Titration, Karl Fisher titration, Halogen moisture
analyzer, Balances and sieve shaker for particles size determination
Responsibilities
Good knowledge in water, seawater and waste water Chemical Analysis and Data
interpretation with Al control and Hach reference methods
Good handling Hach spectrophotometer, Hach pH/Conductivity, Turbid meter, Autotitrator, COD Apparatus
Performing routine test BOD, COD, pH, Color, Dissolved Oxygen, E.C, Phosphate as PO4,
Nitrate as NO3, Nitrite as NO2, Sulphate as SO4, Total Chlorine as Cl2, Alkalinity, Total
solids (TSS), Total solids (TDS), Turbidity.
Carrie out quality control assessments for all tests conducted in lab.
Trained new personnel.
Kept detailed records of all data.
Develop and maintain the quality assurance/quality control programs as required by
the regulations.
Maintain and prepare a variety of technical reports.
Research and develop new tests to analyze water, domestic and industrial wastewater
Prepare and standardize chemical reagents and solutions.
Assist in laboratory budget preparation.
Laboratory and field safety, equipment, material care, and maintenance.
