I Operate the XRF(X-Ray Fluorescence) device which analyze the rock samples after preparation and give us the element composition for that sample, Also Operate the XRD(X-Ray Diffraction) device, which analyze the sample and give us the kind of mineral of this sample, finally Operate the SRA(Source Rock Analyzer) which Identify and characterize source and reservoir rock by heating geologic samples by preprogrammed temperature in inert atmosphere and Evaluates: Organic richness, Kerogen type, Thermal maturity, Generative potential of a zone
Oil or Gas producing zone
☛ June 2012 till now work as a Senior Mud logger With Weatherford SLS on exploration well, land rig (KDC 15) well ( RA-422), for Kuwait Oil Company.
➢ Responsibility: ➢ Gas Detection: Monitoring of gas through GAS SYSTEM, and gas chromatograph. Continuous separation of hydrocarbon gases C1, C2. C3, IC4, NC4, and C5.
➢ Confirming with the driller about any drilling breaks.
➢ The monitoring of the drill fluid volume and to immediately inform the personnel in charge about any change in that volume
➢ Identifying litho stratigraphic formation boundaries, casing setting depths and coring points depending on oil shows.
Installation, operation, maintenance, calibration and trouble of different equipments of mud logging unit
