Conducted regular site inspections jointly with consultants to verify that HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting installations were executed in full compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Identified non-conformities and ensured corrective actions were implemented within the agreed timeframe.
Managed and controlled Inspection Request Forms (IRF) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) on a daily basis, including coordination for welding inspections and review of welding reports. Ensured all submissions were complete, accurate, and approved by the consultant without delays to project progress.
Actively participated in inspections for HVAC systems, including Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), dampers, fans, Variable Air Volume (VAV) and Constant Air Volume (CAV) systems, ensuring correct installation, alignment, insulation, and functional compliance.
Attended inspections for Plumbing systems, including drainage networks, water supply piping, sump pumps, and air compressors, verifying pipe routing, jointing, slope, pressure testing, and compliance with approved shop drawings and standards.
Carried out inspections for Fire Fighting systems, including fire piping, sprinkler systems, FM200 gas suppression systems, and fire hose cabinets, ensuring proper installation, spacing, pressure testing, labeling, and adherence to local fire codes and civil defense requirements.
Verified that all materials delivered to site were approved through MIRs, matched approved submittals, and were properly stored, protected, and handled to prevent damage, deterioration, or misuse.
Witnessed and inspected commissioning activities for HVAC equipment such as AHUs and mechanical systems such as booster pumps. Confirmed that performance parameters including airflow, pressure, temperature, vibration, and operational reliability met the design and contractual requirements.
Attended weekly and monthly coordination meetings with project management, consultants, and main contractors to review progress, discuss technical issues, address quality concerns, and align construction activities with project milestones and key dates.
Prepared and submitted weekly and monthly progress reports, inspection logs, and quality reports, providing clear updates to the Manager and Construction Manager on work status, inspection outcomes, outstanding issues, and planned activities.
Coordinated closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work activities followed approved procedures and schedules. Reviewed and approved Method Statements (MST), Risk Assessments, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) to confirm safe working practices and quality compliance prior to execution.
