• Managing the Main Contractor’s progress, to achieve the Programme milestones, on time and within the budget
• Assures team performance of project personnel and subconsultants meets Client needs and expectations
• Monitors project budgets, financial commitments and expenditures
• Assures safety policies and procedures are implemented on the project and monitors safety compliance
• Assures quality processes and procedures are implemented on the project and monitors for compliance
• Manages and coordinates sub consultant participation on the project
• Develops and implements staffing plans in accordance with contract and project requirements

• Develop and maintain site logistics plan, and coordination of temporary offices & equipment with project team
• Performs site surveys and inspections as frequently as necessary to ensure the required work is accomplished satisfactorily and conforms to the contract requirements.
• Manage specific construction projects from the mobilization phase to the operations through the Close Out.
• Represents Construction Department at project related meetings such as pre-bid, post-award/ kick-off, Coordination, technical and other required meetings with Owner’s departments or other contractors.
• Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study.
• Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Environmental regulations, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, Method statement & Risk assessment and other documents as required.
• Reviews shop drawings / as-built drawings, material submittals and technical or contractual clarifications submitted by contractor, and coordinates and routes for approval of same.
• Assists Contractor with coordination of other related trades (i.e. Architect, Finishing works, plumbing, fire protection, site drainage, landscape, hardscape, process piping, structural, etc.)

• Managing the Construction team, organize and facilitate the team work based on the project schedules
• Possess strong civil construction skills and maintain a focus on customer responsiveness.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with a sense of urgency, while maintaining commitment to strict deadlines
• Assists the Project Controls Cost Engineer, or Contract Administrator, by reviewing Contractors’ invoices for correctness of installed quantities of the permanent works and variation orders.
• Follow and enforce all applicable safety precautions and programs, and thoroughly read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures.

• Providing technical support to the project delivery teams on construction management, construction safety and constructability and resolve construction planning resource constraints
• Verifying contract compliance by reviewing specifications and drawings, construction schedules and contract documents in technical and commercial aspects
• Witnesses Contractors’ quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent works are constructed according to the contract, applicable codes, standards, approved drawings and specifications
• Interfaces with other client’s Departments, End Users and occasionally with management and client representatives. Daily contacts with Contractor’s on-site structural and management staff.
