As a part of SAAS ASM Transition SPOC my major responsibilities was to get a complete Knowledge Transfer from the previous Vendor and successfully get the project. I had to train my colleagues as well so that it can be supported smoothly. The biggest challenge during the transition was to learn a new technology called Mirapoint on which I had no prior knowledge. I learned the new technology and trained my other collegue and showed confidence to British that I can work on the technology without any issues. And succefully got the project to Tech Mahindra and from there on managing these projects as a team lead.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for working with teams, vendors and other business partners and make sure that all areas of the release are properly managed.
• Delivered 2nd level technical support Lead to current and new business applications.
• Had worked on both the application parallel and managed the application without any issues.
• Make sure that all the deployment goes successfully and in case of any issues resolve them immediately.
• Make sure that proper completion and change control procedures are well followed.
• Responsible for managing the training sessions with business users and project teams to gather obligation.
• Also managing the changes to be deployed on Mirapoint Servers as we were the administrator of these servers.
• Managing the Team and Rota as this was a 24x7 project. So have to manage the shifts of the entire team.
• I was also handling the Weblogic SPOC for the entire cluster. Any issues across the other project with respect to Weblogic, I was analyzing and providing them the solution.
• Had put in various service improvements via shell script so that the manual efforts are minimal.

As a part of BTW.com ASG (Application Support Group), my major responsibilities were to understand by coordinating with the delivery team for planning and defining the strategy for implementing the below mentioned activities:
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for working with teams, vendors and other business partners and make sure that all areas of the release are properly managed.
• Delivered 2nd level technical support to current and new business applications.
• Worked as communicator with business analysts and implementation teams regarding to change requests and prioritization of all bugs.
• Analyzed all the documents that are required for the progress of releases such as Functional Requirement Specifications, System Requirement Specifications, and change request.
• Make sure that all the project deliverables are in line with production system.
• Make sure that proper completion and change control procedures are well followed.
• Responsible for managing the training sessions with business users and project teams to gather obligation.
• Deploying the applications and documenting the process for the same.
• Working on the issues that are impacting the live service and making sure that it doesn't occur again.
• Performing the AIS (Acceptance into Service) testing. As a part of this testing ASG performs the log analysis, resilience testing and Buster testing.
• Deploying old and creating new scripts (shell scripts) as and when required for generating Health check reports of the BTW.com servers and for pro-active monitoring in order avoid the service impacting incident. Have created various scripts out of these two scripts are being used across various platform.
(i) Pre- Release Check Script: This script is being used for collecting various stats and analyse them so that the deployment team are confident that the platform is stable enough to handle the release.
(ii) Disaster Recovery Script: This script is used whenever there is major incident on the platform or the site is down. This was created so that the major issues are recovered immediately as there are strict SLA on the priority incidents. The functionality of the script is to do all the checks on the platform in no time when the site is down and the report is displayed on the front-end. The btwholesale platform have various set of servers like ZXTM, Web server, Siteminder server, Application Server and Data base server. Hence logging to all these servers during the issue and investigate take a quite long time. This script helps the Application support team in analysing as it does all the possible checks and collect stats in less tha 2 mins. Hence the resolution is obtained faster.
