• Participating in Project Management team, Operational & Maintenance and PSM- Risk Module workshops / studies: HAZOP, HAZID/ENVID, SIL, SIMOPS, SPACE RESERVATION - RISK ANALAYSIS, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY (OHS RISK REGISTER) development and follow-up implementation of recommendations to mitigate and to maintain risk levels to ALARP.
• Involved in HSE Design of designing, installation and commissioning of Safety/LSA/FFA (Inside main living quarters) in basic, detail and production stages for systems for offshore platforms.
• Fully trained and knowledgeable with relevant offshore platform Safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards. (Inside main living quarters)

• Participating with Operations, Reliability, Major project (PMT), Maintenance services group to identify & provide recommendations for proposed Change in design /Management of Change (MOC)
• Familiarized with Process safety related study in Refinery & Petrochemical Facilities including CDU, ARDS, Boilers, SGU, hydro treated Units, WWTP, Utilities, Acid Flare and Ground Flare.
• Audits to be conducted to verify compliance status of KPC - Kuwait Petroleum Corporations Recommendations from various fatality and major incidents among K-Company’s Impart HSE related trainings on Pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, CTRA’s.
• Delegations of using Maximo Software’s for the actions and follow ups in the IRIS Modules for the HSE incidents and Improvements for Reporting system, investigations and closing recommendations of Near miss, Substandard Act, Substandard Conditions, Process Near Miss, Process Incident and Accidents, Process Loss.
• Participated in preparation of HSE plans and procedures in compliance with Company’s requirement and responsible for revision and updating the HSE plan and procedures.
• Assisting in development of new and reviewing existing Company safety standards and HSMS Procedures, Safe work practices, manuals, and permit register on regular intervals to ensure they are up to date.
• Carry out a Plan, commission and participate in Inspections/audits both internal and external of Company installations and processes to ensure continual improvement of Company safety programs.
• Assisting and facilitating Incident/accident investigations to prevent reoccurrence of similar incidents.

Project detail : Modification at MAA Refinery for Interim Supply to ZOR Refinery (KNPC)

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Preparation of: Project Hazard Assessment Study, Bow-tie Analysis, Fire and Explosion Risk
•Analysis (FERA), Qualitative & Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
•Supply technical evaluations on the HSSE aspects of the vendors or sub-contractors
•Participate/ in projects risk workshops/studies: HAZOP, HAZID/ENVID, SIL, SIMOPS and follow-up
• Implementation of recommendations in order to mitigate and to maintain risk levels to ALARP
•Preparation of Fire Fighting Network Layout/ Tie-in List/ MTO /Equipment Data sheets, Fire &Gas
•Detection layout drawings and Active & passive firefighting Report
•Develop project specific HSSE plans and documentation: HSSE Bridging Document, Project HSSE Management Plan, Waste Management Plan, Security Plan, Safety Philosophy and SIMOPS procedures, and follow-up their implementation.
