- Conduct regular HSE surveys, tours, audits and other HSE matters.
- Support the achievement of HSE goals and objectives by Lots and
subcontractors through implementation of Consortium HSE plans.
- Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating, and
implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Provide support to the dept. on the implementation of Company-wide HSE
initiatives e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001etc.
- Monitor compliance with HSE requirements and mitigation of risk through
control the risk of behaviors and conditions.
- Direct and review the analysis of accident and injury data, identifying the needs for new or modified occupational safety programs.
- Research occupational safety information to assure the best available
methods and equipment are adopted to minimize the hazards in the workplace.
- Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up and completed.
- Attend and advise all project EHS meetings.
- Certified scaffold inspector for Line-5 deep underground stations.
- Prepare all HSE registers, checklists, and reports.
- Preparing Risk assessments for Method Statements.
- Permit to Work (PTW) system (Permit requester & receiver).
- HSE Inspections, Accident/Incident reporting & Investigation, analysis of
incident statistics.
- Monitoring all safety issues on site, to prevent and stop dangerous work practices.
- Conducting emergency evacuation drills e.g. mock fire drills.
- Identifying and eliminating unsafe conditions and maintain complete work field safety.
- Delivering all HSE orientations and Trainings.
- Undertaking site advisory visits, audits, and verification of other local monitoring activities, either individually or as part of a team.
- Reporting and assisting subsequent investigation of accidents, near miss and environmental incidents.
- Assist project management in maintaining audit/action registers.
- Ensure training, toolbox meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company HSE program.
- Advise on improvements in tracking and reporting procedures.
- Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of the HS&E programs in the field.
- Advising employees about safe & healthy work practices & management systems.
- Comply with all Company and HSE procedures and policies.
- Advice management on Potential hazards, Accident/Incident reporting on site and required corrective action.
- Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up and implemented.
- Attend pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters.
- Inducting all the company employees & site visitors.
Post graduate OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OTHM UK).
Second class - division one ( Very Good )
