Job duties included but not limited to:
• Leading the SCADA and instrumentation team; encouraging, bringing teamwork and maintaining good co-operation to achieve intended goals.
• Coordination with tendering team to prepare the technical offers.
• Coordination and following up with technical and maintenance teams to meet with costumer requirements.
• Field Engineering, Assisting in Modification of system design (Internal panel modification, addition of modules in Panel) as per Client requirement.
• Working with clients and vendors, coordination with other engineering disciplines, ensuring target dates are achieved, and distributing manpower for the execution of engineering activities within budgeted project man-hours.
•Preparation of Technical Specifications, Instrument Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, technical inquiry requests (Inquiry Requisitions) to vendors and evaluate the vendor/supplier bid technical offers.
•Review vendor drawings and documents.
•Programmed the entire plant operation and sequences by using Allen Bradley’s RSlogix 5000.
•Configure and Program SCADA and HMI with RSView32, RSView Studio.
•Configured Control Net system using RSNetworkx
•Worked with client, and vendors, coordinated with other engineering disciplines, ensure target dates are achieved, and distribute manpower for the execution of engineering activities within budgeted project man-hours.
•Preparation Control System architecture and Communication wiring diagram.
•Design the PLC panel (Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc), and represent the company in the FAT, prepare Panel wiring diagram and interconnection with the field instrument.
•Review the instruments list and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID drawings).
•Preparation of Control Points List, Instrument/Communication Cable List.
•Prepare Instrument Layout, cable routing, control room layouts, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Functional Logic Diagrams, Terminations Diagrams, Installation Hook-up Drawings, Control Panel Drawings, Control/Equipment Room Lay-outs, Cable Tray/Trench Lay-outs, JB schedules and Interconnection Schedules.
•Configuring and implementing all the communications to be used with motor VFD’s, DOL and Soft Starters and 33kv, 11kV and 3.3kV Switchgears from several manufacturers using both Modbus, Profibus and hardwired systems.
•Design & Commissioning the Profibus DP& PA and Modbus Networks for all Plant Instruments/Equipments.
•Commissioning of all the I & C system for both hardwired and feildbus systems. This included the following:
-Commissioning of all instruments of the plant.
-PID Tuning.
-Troubleshooting wiring problems and finding an appropriate solutions.
-Start-up procedure for the control system of the plant
Job responsibility includes :
•Project studying and preparing bill of materials and Technical submittals.
•Preparation of Logic diagrams.
•Design the Panels, and represent the company in the FAT, PAC and FAC, prepare Panels detail wiring diagram, As built drawings and interconnection with the field instrument.
•Programmed the projects operation and sequences with SIMATIC Manager and STEP 7 Micro/WIN.
•Configure and Programming SCADA and HMI with WinCC, WinCC Flexible and Protool.
•Review the P&ID drawings and prepare the instruments list.
•Prepare cable routing, control room layouts, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Functional Logic Diagrams, Terminations Diagrams, Installation Hook-up Drawings, Control Panel Drawings, Control/Equipment Room Lay-outs, Cable Tray/Trench Lay-outs, JB schedules and Interconnection Schedules.
•Design the Fiber Optic communication network.
•Recommend cost effective measures to reduce overall costs.
•Commissioning of all the Instrumentation and Control. This included the following:
- Commissioning of all instruments of the plant
- Troubleshooting wiring problems and finding an appropriate solutions.
- Start-up procedure for the control system of the plant.

• Head / member for several committees for Construction, Lighting, IT and buying machines.
• Giving training courses of Operating systems (MS Windows) and Microsoft Office to the company employees.
