Reporting to the General Manager, Finance.
•Finalization of annual Financial Statements of the Company, organizing and coordinating internal and external audits, reviewing and implementing recommendations.
•Preparation of Trial Balance, Profit & Loss A/c & Balance Sheet as per accounting standards on Quarterly, Half yearly & Annual Basis.
•Ensuring that all accounting entries are incorporated in the company accounts after they have been approved as per schedule of authority and that accounts are kept up-dated to reflect all the transactions of the business, including all reconciliations with banks, debtors, creditors, principals and group companies.
•Assist the Manager/Section Head with the preparation, consolidation and review of quarterly and annual budgeting processes and plans for the entity.
•Exercise budgetary controls, accounting & physical controls and credit control as per laid down procedures and asset management. Also exercise controls on other purchases and services.Managing of payroll function.
•Having a control over branch accounts & sister concern accounting activities.
•Prepare monthly tax reports, file tax declaration on TDS and annual corporate income tax return and assistance in tax compliance to Finance Manager.
•Manage the preparation, verification and maintenance of payroll records and reports to ensure the payroll is processed timely and accurately in line with due authorization, approved budgets and the entity’s policy and procedures. Coordinate with the entity’s HR function as and when needed to obtain all necessary employee information
