• Follow up with the customs clearance agents the delivery of the imported orders.
• Prepare procurement plans based on production plans.
• Ensure that Procurement plans are regularly reviewed and produce management reports on status of key deliverables
• Maintain appropriate metrices for Procurement activities in support of the project and report status and recovery actions.
• Responsible for supporting the manufacturing department with a steady and uninterrupted flow of materials on a regular basis and proactive planning of all procurement activities.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining clear and effective procurement policies and procedures.
• Resolve major and systemic purchasing issues affecting order management and material control performance.
• Analyze and evaluate external price trends and new product offerings to identify opportunities to reduce overall purchasing costs.
• Direct and maintain both short and long-term purchasing agreements with suppliers.
• Facilitate implementation of contracts with suppliers to ensure flexibility in pricing and production schedules.
• Establish targets in the area of purchasing and monitor the performance of all purchasing activities against these goals.
• Manage all purchasing activities and ensure efficiency implementation of cost reduction measures.
• Following up on purchasing cycle with the customs department and resolving any ongoing related problems.
• Prepare and submit for the approval of the annual purchasing budget.
• Monitor, and regularly evaluate relationships and contracts with external suppliers so that the organization has a reliable supply of goods and services that meet its standards of quality, timeliness and cost.
• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of purchasing staff to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.

Job description:
Lead warehouse operations in line with the targeted goals concerning technical quality, cost and service level.
Managing all the fleet operations with cost efficiency and high quality
Implementing LEAN with significant and measurable KPI’s as per company targets
Supervising the activities of employees, engages in shipping, receiving, storing and testing materials and products.
Issuing job assignments and review work orders, invoices and confirm reports and monitor the distribution of materials or products.
Implementing LEAN in the Warehouse (achievements):
Organizing the warehouse with the LEAN concept (optimize both space & picking time) to increase the efficiency of the available resources for raw material & finished goods (efficiency increased by 30% in 2 years).
Improving material providing and handling in the plant based on the ‘’one piece flow’’ concept (time savings 45% and quality of service improved 30%)
KAIZEN events to make the incremental improvements on the level of the plant (12 kiazen events on different areas)
VSM where on a timely manner we make present and future maps to be implemented
Standardizing warehouse activities by implementing the necessary work instructions, work procedures and standard times.
Implementing short interval management to detect problems faster and prevent them from repetition by the Global 8 discipline methodology.
Making new Bin location system in the W/H to facilitate searching for the material (20% saving in time)
Implement & control FIFO system of material flow to avoid obsolete & to keep the material at the accepted quality level.
