Responsibilities
* Administering the network having 1 Exchange 2003 Server, 1 SQL Database, 1 Oracle Server, 1 Domain Controller, 60 HP Desktops, Manageable Switch & Watch Guard Firewall
* Duties entailing Administration and Management of Windows 2003/Exchange Servers and clients.
* Updating Patch for all Windows 2000/2003 servers using MS-SUS (Software Update Services)
* Configuring VPN Connectivity between client sites and our Infokall, US Office
* Monitoring 1 MB RF Link
* Co-ordinate with all link vendors for logging/follow-up of any Link issues
* Responsible for Operations Management involving Backups and optimizing Server Performance
* Installation, Configuration and Management of RDBMS clients and servers
* Installation, Configuration and Management of Application servers
* Centralize updating of Antivirus patch from Symantec System Console server
* Day to Day Security Update and monitoring the system for known virus and cleaning the same if exists
* Providing Technical Support to INFOKALL Employees
* Provide visibility of evolving computing technology by investigating new technology and systems architecture; and presenting the information to peers and management
* Managing Win2000 Server as domain controller, & also as Oracle Server
* Installed Red hat Linux server as File Server configured samba server & client

* Installed Oracle on Windows Configuring & Creating Multiple Database,
Importing of table with data, taking backup (exporting) of Tables with data

* Installation, administration and troubleshooting of DOS, Windows 9x, Windows NT workstation and server, windows millennium edition, windows 2000 professional, windows 2000 server, Linux 9.
* Designing single domain & multiple domain Microsoft Windows NT/2000 domain models and implementing Active Directory.
* Installing and maintaining DHCP, WINS & DNS servers.
* Planning, creating and maintaining user and group accounts to ensure that each user can log on to the network necessary access rights.
* Configuring User Profiles, System Policies to ensure Network Security.
* Planning, implementing and enforcing a security policy for protecting data and shared network resources, including folders, files and printers.
* Walking the customer through the installation, configuration and troubleshooting hardware/Software components to the Desktops.
* Downloading the latest device drivers for the hardware and updating them on our FTP site successfully configured.
* Assembling of the computers.
* Installation and configuring the drivers like Audio, video, Ethernet card, MODEM, Web and digital camera, Zip drive.
* Installing and managing printers at local and network level.
* Providing support for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting go Local Area Network.
* Train the new employees.
