Main Responsibilities,
- Leading and following departments:
Sales and Marketing.
Documentation and Customer Services.
Custom Clearance and port operation.
Break-bulk and tramp services.
- Directing, overseeing, optimizing and coordinating full Logistics and Operation cycle
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, Custom brokers, insurance and other services providers
- Negotiate and Sign contracts with Clients and monitor contract fulfillment.
- Supervise closely export and import of Bulk & general cargo shipments with coordination with Port authority,
stevedoring companies, Charterer and VSL Owner.
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Keep track of quality, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Dealing with Free Zone Authority, GAFI and customs authorities documents preparation for IMPORT &
EXPORT & Comply with all statutory requirements for customs clearance in accordance with the laws and
regulations.
- Check the invoices from suppliers and approve them by signing and processing by Accounting Dept.
- Supervise and manage logistics team Develop and manage logistics KPIs also make sure to Meet cost,
productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Report the logistics achievements to the top management on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
- Review the sales team feedback periodically in order to keep our customers satisfaction at the required standard.
- Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and operations
- Supervise, coach, train and evaluate new and existence staff and Provide leadership to help team develop skills
and meet goals
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Non-Logistics Assignments:
- Approving/editing the Logistics related policies and procedures.
- Providing cost management studies with proposed corrective actions for achieving the required efficiency
standards.
- Involve in new projects/services feasibility studies and market screening
- Perform pre-litigation work with co-ordination with Legal dept.to minimize risks and maximize legal rights.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages
- Assigned by the top management as the QA PIC (company’s internal auditor) and launch examinations to make
sure of compliance to the Company’s policy.
Main Responsibilities,
- Set short and long term objectives and the implementation time frame.
- Interact with the clients and our logistics team to ensure full comprehension of the operational requirements of
the clients and maintain the most efficient way fulfilling these requirements.
- Submit quotations for local and international clients and providing any rates required for our worldwide agencies.
- Adhere to the administrative procedures and ensuring that invoicing and job costing is performed timely.
- Interfere for solving any discrepancies that may arise between any of the logistics teams and the clients, also
settle any conflict that may happen among the logistics teams.
- Study the new services, rates & transit time between different carriers
- Report the logistics achievements to the top management on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Facilitate effective work flow between the operations team & documentation staff and the accounting department
in order to deliver reliable data.
- Insure extensive filing for all shipments handled through any branch.
- Interact with CSL colleagues in the overseas agencies by exchanging market information to build a strong
relationship and to achieve more cooperation in order to expand our business scope.

• Interact directly with shipping lines, freight forwarders and logistics services providers’ on local basis and globally.

• Was facilitating effective co-ordination between the clients, operation staff and finance department to ensure the success of customer satisfaction plan
• Was Handling any customer Inquiry and complain in good order and manners
• Was insuring accurate filing for all shipment handled for the branch daily work.
• Was coordinating all export and import shipments (LCL and FCL) in all aspects of logistics activities (Ocean freight, Clearance and Trucking)
• Was Receiving inquires and trying to achieve clients requirements
• Was negotiating directly with shipping lines, other service providers and agents around the world to get the best rates.
• Was doing all documentation tasks for import and export shipments as well.
• Was keeping clients updated with their shipments status and charges step by step.
• Was making arrangements to finalize documents & deliver it to the client after accurate invoicing and documentation.
• Complete follow up with the suppliers for Pre-alert shipping advice
• Was Coordinating all export shipments (LCL and FCL) in all aspects of logistics activities (Ocean freight, Clearance and Trucking)
• Was negotiating directly with shipping lines, other service providers and agents around the world
• Was following up with clients and report the situation for their shipments.
• Was Receiving inquires and trying to achieve clients requirements
• Was doing all documentation tasks for export shipments
• Was handling bookings with carriers and issue shipping instructions
• Adhere to the administrative procedures and ensuring invoicing and job costing is performed timely
