A-Ramp duties:- ● Examines transfer, loading and unloading of cargo/baggage, reports status and follows up for any irregularities and inconsistencies. ● Passing all necessary documents and information to the flight crews such as NOTAMS, weather, OFP and specific messages concerning their flights and duties.
● Passing to operations all relevant data to each flight to be sent to the concerned parties with that information, timely in both written format as well as verbal transmission. ● Report flight crew/pilot of any visual damage in the aircraft body before any handling of the plane or that may occur during handling.
B- Passenger handling duties:- ● Ensure flight editing 24 hours before each flight. ● Ensure check in procedures is done for each flight according to safety and security procedures applied by client procedure and as per any external body regulating those procedures. ● Ensure transferring closing flight data to the concerned departments such as airport authorities, boarding counter and ramp supervisor accurately including all updates till final closing of gate, including any special service required for any passenger.C- Operations duties:- ● Plan flight schedule one day before each operational day and pass all relevant information to concerned departments (passenger handling and ramp supervision) as well as the concerned airport authorities and ground handling companies. ● Coordinate with the slot and traffic coordination center to ensure that all operating flights are approved from the Egyptian Civil Aviation authority, as well as the ad hook permissions is available and done well before flight arrival. ● Perform and analyze data relevant to all delays in flights, lost & found, passengers arrival, all flights handled…etc.
