• Food items procured consists of Frozen Meat, Poultry, Beef, Pork and Fish from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, India, China, Canada, Australia and several European countries; Dry food categories such as Nuts from USA; Spices from India; Wheat flour, Pasta, dried fruits, chocolates, candies from Turkey; Sugar, Maize flour, Biscuits, Cookies from Brazil; Rice from Thailand and Vietnam; Cooking oils from Malaysia and Brazil; Canned meat from China, Portugal, Brazil, Europe.
• Non-food items procured consist of cosmetics, soaps, insecticides, electronics, food packing laminates, electric bulbs etc.
• Yearly purchase of $10-12M of items spanning 200+ SKUs with a freight forwarding amounting of $1 million.
• Remote management of $3M+ inventory at warehouse levels and managing internal inventory transfer through ERP.

• SKU based stock level monitoring on weekly basis for different distributors across MENA region.
• Maintain and provide information to distributors on product availability, spare parts, shipment and stock replenishment.
• Initiating and recommending corrective actions to distributors & regional offices to maintain sufficient stocking.
• Working in close co-ordination with factories to manage their production plans as per the forecasting.

•Independently handle all activities related to procurement of carbon steel wire rods; required for manufacturing nails and galvanized wire after a thorough local and international market survey and discussions.
•Procure raw materials, other commoditized products, machine spare parts, CAPEX items, machine tools, consumables, MEP items by proper vendor sourcing locally & internationally formulating company’s purchase policies and procedures.
•Obtaining detailed technical specifications from suppliers for the above list of purchases, tabulating and preparing techno-commercial comparison ensuring they meet as per required standards of the purchase requisition.
•Review, expedite and track all open Purchase Orders with timely deliveries and strict adherence to quality of supply.
•Continuous tracking of Inventory of fast-moving items, common consumables to proactively forecast their demand and initiate purchases after confirmation from respective department heads ensuring optimal stocking at all times.
•Represent the company in negotiating and formulating contracts, long term agreements formulating company’s policies with suppliers; obtaining the best price consistent with the quality, services and deliveries for all procured items.
•Plan, organize, manage, coordinate, supervise and evaluate the programs related to procurement division.
•Develop, implement and enforce purchasing policies and procedures like vendor management and customer satisfaction and positively contribute in the overall company & purchasing cost-saving plans wherever possible.
