Spring 2014 Project Title: "Design of a process for the carbonation of steel slag and capture of carbon dioxide"
This project is the senior design project & expected to conclude in December 2014; it aims to decrease the large amounts of carbon dioxide generated from various industries and using it in a
process that alleviates risky waste generated from steelmaking processes to more stable and valuable
product.
Evaluation: 92% \[A\]
Spring 2013 Project Title: "Biochemical separation in daily wastewater"
This project was part of biochemical separation course; it investigates the pros and cons of five
wastewater treatment methodologies and there relevance and feasibility in UAE and picks the most
suitable one through comprehensive literature review and market survey.
