Senior Construction Manager, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia September 2015-September 2016. Client: MODON Saudi Arabia Industrial Cities Group, Project Budget: $100M USD. Senior Construction Manager for the construction and rehabilitation of existing and proposed infrastructure works for Riyadh’s Second Industrial City Riyadh-2.
o Selection and interview of required 20 Construction Management staff.
o Assisting Client with review of Tender documents and advise on what scope can be excluded to reduce bid price to satisfy project budget of $100M USD.
o Oversight of CMCS multi-disciplinary design review staff of 12 including, engineering, surveying, QAQC, QS, HSSE, and document control and technical staff.
o Stakeholder Management to include Primary Stakeholder (Owner), Contractor, and Utility Permitting Agencies and Authority approvals.
o Development of all required Project Deliverable to include Project Management Plan (PMP), Quality Management Plan, Risk Management Plan, Stakeholder Register and Project Communications Plan.
o Evaluation of all finishing materials in relation to project’s Preferred Vendor List (PVL) and architectural finishes control boards.
o Monitoring and Controlling of Contractor’s P6 schedules through effective coordination of staff and Contractor project controls groups including monitoring of project Milestone delivery dates.
o Organization and chairing of weekly progress and technical meetings with Client, and Contractor.

Senior Construction Manager for CMCS services associated in the construction of the Qatar National Library Project ($250M USD) located with Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Education City.
+Manager responsible direct oversight of Construction Management / Construction Supervisor (CM/CS) to main Contractor and associated subcontractors. Reported to Construction Manager
+Oversight of CMCS multi-disciplinary staff of 42 including, engineering, surveying, QAQC, QS, Architects, and document control staff.
+Complete Stakeholder Management which includes interface with Client Qatar Foundation, program’s Project Manager ASTAD(Qatar Petroleum), and Project Architect Office for Metropolitan Architecture (Rem Koolhaas).
+Development of Stakeholder Register and Project Communications Plan.
+Chairing of Change Control Board meeting which include evaluation of Contractor Design Change Notices (DCN) and recommendations and development of Change Requests.

+Direct oversight of project’s Construction Managers/Construction Supervisors (Hanmi Parsons, Ltd), and Primary Contractor (China State Construction Engineering Corporation), for Client (Libyan Housing and Infrastructure Board -HIB).
+Oversight of design and construction process, assuring adherence to corporate and client HSE policies and procedures.
+Close monitoring of project Milestone delivery and project’s critical path to identify potential risks, items which could have time and cost impact, and stakeholder relations.
+Development of weekly and monthly reporting for Client review to include development of monthly presentation to be given to Client regarding project progress.
+Periodic reviews of Program Management Plan (PMP), Program Risk Management and Risk Assessment development for client.

+Direct supervisor to a total staff of nine (9), engineering, ACAD, and document control staff. Reporting directly to Commercial Land Development Director.
+Recruitment and organization of management staff, senior and junior engineers.

+Primary duties entail project development from the initial stages of client contact. Complete contract development from identification of required services to assignment of cost for said civil and surveying services.
+Development of complete civil construction documents (IFC), utility design and relocation, roadway design to include required alignment, excavation, asphalt / concrete design cross-sections, and any required drainage improvements. Complete site preparation to include cut / fill calculations. Dry utility coordination to include mechanical and electrical system. All associated permitting through municipal and state regulatory agencies.
