Lead Engineer - Director for the construction of the Al Rayyan 40, 000 person capacity FIFA 2022 World Cup Quarter-Finals Stadium with associated infrastructure works which include Energy Center, internal roadways and parking improvements, storm water detention facilities, electrical substations, sanitary sewer lift stations, etc.
o Project Director responsible direct oversight of Construction Management / Construction Supervisor Services (CMCS) Team. Report to WSP Director for Project & Program Management Middle East.
o Oversight of the CMCS multi-disciplinary staff of thirty (30) to include HSE, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineers, Inspectors, and document control staff.
o Management and oversight of HSE staff ensuring compliance to WSP Middle East “Zero-Harm” Safety Culture. Development, implementation, and monitoring of Project Health, Safety, and Security Plan.
o Review, Comment, and Approval of all Contractor and Sub-contractor Risk Assessments and Construction Activity Method Statements.
o Daily Monitoring and Recording of all on-site incidents, and near misses.
