Design consultants Services for NEOM Oxagon - Site-wide Infrastructure Engineering Services Agreement Project.
DUTIES:
• Assist the Engineering Manager with Client and project coordination.
• Operate as a section Leader and prepare schedules, budgets and quality requirements.
• Provides solutions to resolve complex design issues that are technical in nature.
• Assist the Engineering Manager in providing performance evaluation commentary.
• Advises the design team on technical issues influencing design, coordinates with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers and regulatory agencies.
• Assist in report preparation.
• Assists in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting staff.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Maintain all documents and reports in a professional manner and present it to the line manager as and when required.
• Ensure complete adherence to company policies and procedures.

Project Details: Oxagon is the largest floating structure in the entire world which forms part of the Regional Land Use Plan for NEOM with 48 Km2 as a developed area and is located in the southwest of NEOM and geographically situated between the foreground of the Red Sea and the backdrop of the Shar Mountains. The city provides key industrial processes and facilities for the NEOM region and shall be integrated as part of the Regional Plan accommodating a residential community of around 75, 500 people.
Project Management services PMC (DAR/CMS) | King Faisal Air Base Academy-KFAA Project RSAF/MOD (Ministry of Defense/Royal Saudi Air Force) project.
• Leading the Architectural technical team reporting to the Technical director, Reviewing all the related documents for the architectural, façade, interior & landscape work, & following up the ongoing activities with the main/ subcontractors including Mockups, FF&E, fitting-out works.
• Leading and carrying on all the coordination aspects between different stakeholders, internally (all in-house disciplines - MEP, QAQC, QS) and externally (Client/ PMCM/ Contractors).
• Leading all the Reviews to all submitted workshop drawings. As-built drawings, Validating the dilapidation reports and replaying the Request of information RFIs conducted by the Main contractors and JVs.
• Reviewing/ Auditing the Variation Orders (VO) requested by the contractor with the full coordination required with the quantities/QS & QC, Value engineering and Material specification.
• Leading and following all the review and released documents with the higher management using (Prolog) software for all submittals Conducting lists, following up with all relevant stakeholders.
• Issuing if needed and releasing to higher management the Nonconformance report (NCR) - Site observation notice (SON) - Standard operating procedure (SOP).
Cooperative with the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu RCJY on the CONVENTION CENTER (608-Y15) & EXPANSION OF RCJ IT-DEPARTMENT (134-C01).
• Reporting to the Design Manager, responsible from the first study of the RFP request for proposals in preparation of bid proposals, resources estimation for each stage of work execution plan.
• Allocated workload tasks by leading and mentoring a staff of around team of Architects and engineers through the duration of the project following to our scope of work, developing the project specifications design against International Building Code (IBC), American national standard institute Code (ANSI), American Disability Association (ADA) & NFPA 101 Life Safety Codes and Saudi Building code (SBC), Applying all of the required coordination with the all of the engineering disciplines and QS Department while ensuring strict quality control of all drawings & documents using company’s QA/QC procedures.
• Preparation of bid documents, Coordination with SMEP engineers and the PM, mentoring of staff for their professional growth, ability to work in large teams on large scale projects etc., among other
• Coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team comprising of Engineers, Specialist Contractors, etc. in encompassing design development, design reviews and code compliance of the projects.
• Participating in meetings with client representatives, contractors, and sub-contractors to resolve issues that happen during construction process Technical Query’s (TQ’s), Design change notifications (DCN’s) & Requests for information (RFI’s)
• Reviewing tender drawings, workshop drawings, Bill of quantities (BOQ), Material Takeoff (MTO).
Reporting to the Architectural Head of department, responsible from the early stage of the Architectural Concept Design stage till the Tender or issues for construction (IFC) stage through the required Design Project Management, , Interior Concept Design, Mood Boards, Design Studies, (Historical studies/ Analysis for old Existing Buildings/ Observation Reports/ Status Documentation), Heritage Design, Daylighting studies using Sefaira software, Space Program, Design Reports, Schematic Document, Design Development, Tender Package, Construction Documents, 3D Modeling, Data Collection, Façade Design, Presentations, Design Review, Detailing, Coordination Drawings, Municipality Package, Liaising with Government Authorities for Building Permits for large scale Projects, Value Engineering, Technical Reporting, Project Control, Material Selection, Quantity Surveying, BOQ, and Staff Development.
• Developing the project specifications design against International Building Code (IBC), American national standard institute Code (ANSI), American Disability Association (ADA) & NFPA 101 Life Safety Codes and Saudi Building code (SBC), Applying all the required coordination with all of the engineering disciplines and QS Department while ensuring strict quality control of all drawings & documents using company’s QA/QC procedures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Revit, Navis Works, Code Book, 3D Max & AutoCAD Softwares.
• Lead, Manage and assign work tasks to BIM specialist Architectural / Structural / Civil / MEP and Discipline team members.
• Modeling of multiple disciplines is desirable at this level by Coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team comprising of Engineers, Specialist Contractors, etc. in encompassing design development, design reviews and code compliance of the projects.
• BIM Content Development project wise and overall master content.
• Setting up goals for the project’s BIM workflow and requirements management.
• Keep a record of BIM models and their status.
Cooperative with the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu RCJY with client review consultant Bechtel
on the enormous number of projects and Buildings for two main contracts (610-T17 & 027-T22)
