Working on the operational techniques and various algorithms used in the SMAP satellite.
During the first phase (Jan2014 - Jan 2015) the simulated satellite data was analysed and compared with field measurements.
Created programs to do this data analysis, along with that mapped the pixels over the Kuwait region with a mapping program using Global mapper.
During the Second phase (Feb 2015 - Present), the validation of the SMAP started, The data obtained from the satellite is compared and analysed with Gravimetric technique, Time Domain Reflectometry device and Theta probe instrument.
Created programs to do the analysis of the data from field and satellite.
Expertise in handling the most advanced equipment L-band Scatterometer and L-Band Radiometer, used for measuring the brightness temperature which yields the soil moisture over.
The data obtained from the Scatterometer and Radiometer is analysed with special tools and software.
Preparing of presentation and poster for international conference.
Estimation of expense for the project,
Search and enquiry about equipment’s required for the project, and also preparing tender for the same to purchase.
Preparing documentation for all activities that takes place in the project.
Expert in operating, trouble shooting, maintenance and data analysis of L-Band Scatterometer (Active device) this is the first of procured by any country in the entire Middle east countries and L-Radiometer (passive device). These two systems are the main elements of the SMAP satellite.
Responsible for operating, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Campbell, Dynamax weather station systems.
Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include:
Understanding the operational techniques of various satellites(like ENIVSAT, SMOS, MODIS, AMSR-E and so., ) used for the remote sensing purpose
Analysis of the data received from these satellites.
Creation of our own model to implement and obtain soil moisture data so that we can validate with the data received from the satellites
Coding and unit testing of the same.
Version control and code review for standards compliance.
Conducting field trips.
Created an atlas of soil moisture and land surface temperature and vegetation water content over the Arabian Peninsula. The data are from the AMSR-E and MODIS satellites and after doing various analysis we prepared the atlas for the period 2003-2011

Documenting the Printing functionality of AUTO product.
This was done by analysing more than 100 PL/SQL procedures.
It involved tracking the code through the entire flow and understanding the functionality of each package.
Involved preparing project plans for the modules including timelines & resources for each component.
Taking major design level decisions on architecture level for these domains.
Ensuring the progress is on track by reassigning tasks among team members and getting frequent status updates.
Providing Technical guidance to the entire team working on the printing domain.

Reverse engineering a black box module, Printing Module, in AXA Japan project to understand the existing business requirements and to implement new requirements for the Renewals functionality. This printing module is responsible for sending automated printed communications to the client.

Created a Low Level Design for some of the components. This included architecture document and technical details to the method level.
