 Working on the operational techniques and various algorithms used in the SMAP satellite.
 During the first phase (Jan2014 - Jan 2015) the simulated satellite data was analysed and compared with field measurements.
 Created programs to do this data analysis, along with that mapped the pixels over the Kuwait region with a mapping program using Global mapper.
 During the Second phase (Feb 2015 - Present), the validation of the SMAP started, The data obtained from the satellite is compared and analysed with Gravimetric technique, Time Domain Reflectometry device and Theta probe instrument.
 Created programs to do the analysis of the data from field and satellite.
 Expertise in handling the most advanced equipment L-band Scatterometer and L-Band Radiometer, used for measuring the brightness temperature which yields the soil moisture over.
 The data obtained from the Scatterometer and Radiometer is analysed with special tools and software.
 Preparing of presentation and poster for international conference.
 Estimation of expense for the project,
 Search and enquiry about equipment’s required for the project, and also preparing tender for the same to purchase.
 Preparing documentation for all activities that takes place in the project.
 Expert in operating, trouble shooting, maintenance and data analysis of L-Band Scatterometer (Active device) this is the first of procured by any country in the entire Middle east countries and L-Radiometer (passive device). These two systems are the main elements of the SMAP satellite.
 Responsible for operating, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Campbell, Dynamax weather station systems.

 Created an atlas of soil moisture and land surface temperature and vegetation water content over the Arabian Peninsula. The data are from the AMSR-E and MODIS satellites and after doing various analysis we prepared the atlas for the period 2003-2011
