Benefits
There are list of benefits will be covered under plan coverage but in some exceptional case some benefits will not be covered as per underwriting of the plan doc.
So by reviewing the plan document a customer care agent can verify the benefits.
Claims
Provider call to verify the claim status whether the cheque has been posted to the correct Po.Box
And what was the amount we paid, cashing and valid date etc.
Have to verify claims mailing address
Providing explanation for non paying claims (CPT codes which they used might not covered under the plan many reasons are there.
Have to verify surgeon information.
Have to verify Authorization needed or not to some service.
Authorization call should transfer to particular network provider, can be cigna, medcost etc.,
