Main Responsibilities: Managing whole commercial transactions inbound & outbound with annual turnover of $ 3 Bn.
• Inbound: Overseeing all activities related to the inbound Commercial Operations Sector for both "Running Business Units" & "New Projects" including bidding, tenders, sourcing, purchasing, logistics, customs clearance, planning and inventory management functions.
• Outbound: Overseeing all activities related to the outbound Commercial Operations Sector including Costing, Export, Logistics transaction & deliveries.
• Production Planning: heading S&OP function, managing the whole production planning across the group including Semi-finished product grades & metallics contribution along with Finished products based on Sales plan.
• Implementing sourcing strategies to achieve supply synergy through managing Contract /purchasing for a group of 11 existing running business units consisting of DRP Plant, 2 Meltshops, 3 rolling mills, 2 lime plants, Cut and bend plant, Air Separation Unit plant & Briquetting Plant in addition to 2 New Mega projects including Pelletizing plan & Heavy Section / rails mill.
• Achieve cost development and project timings from a Procurement perspective.

• Developing and implementing policies and procedures for all commercial transactions to have appropriate documentation cycle and ensure sticking to healthy bidding audit environment to meet group goals.
• Providing strategic guidance for the delivery of an entire portfolio of materials in the most cost-effective manner including strategic commodities as Iron Ore fines / Iron ore Pellets, scrap, billets, and raw materials (Additives, Alloys, Electrodes) in addition to spare parts based on market studies and previous history.
• Design and monitor logistics management processes (Inbound / Outbound) by selection, qualification, and performance evaluation toservice providers including Chartering activities / Port of discharge selection (inbound) / Port of Loading (outbound) inn addition stevedoring and transportation.
• Carry out studies supporting the recommended supply chain to reach best solution in terms of cost efficiency and quality of service provided.
• Managing the Annual Plan with respect to demand, capacity & materials' purchases as well as sales forecast with ensuring proper cross functionality coordination with involved departments for alignment on budget, targets & objectives of the group.
• Work on enhancing the company cash flow through deferred payments cash out & advance payments cash in for ensuring healthy cash flow.
• Develop & design efficient warehouse inventory management for working capital optimization through securing production needs in efficient lead-times for avoidance of overstocking & obsolete items.
• Develop trading plans for sales objectives through increasing export initiatives for opening new markets & increase the hard currency revenues.
• Involved in the corporate development committee enhancing the flow of work via ERP system in place"SAP", healthy documentation cycle having clear segregation of duties & delegation of authorities.
• Involved in new developments projects committee through carrying out the required feasibility studies for new projects and / or acquisitions opportunities from different perspectives technically & commercially based on market needs and the group corporate vision.
