DOW Specialities is an RO Membrane element manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the DOW CHEMICAL COMPANY.
Role:
• Responsible for carrying out preventive and troubleshooting the problems in Allen Bradley control logix L7 Processors, Allen Bradley Power Flex 400 VFD Drives and Kinetix Motion 6500 Servo drives.
• Managing graphics changes in HMI and SCADA Systems.
• Modification or adding a new PLC Logic codes through proper MOC.
• Monitoring the Manufacturing Execution system \[MES\] software for assigning the production lot and troubleshooting the MES PLC handshaking logic.
• Involved in the planning for upgrades, modifications and execution of the planned tasks in order to achieve zero breakdowns in the fabrication area, RO membrane plant and Tank farm.
• Responsible for carrying out of preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting the problems concerned with the section, man power planning, material management and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Working together with maintenance team for LVDT, Amplifier, and Transducer calibration.
• Development and implementation of scheduled maintenance, checklist, procedures, data collections and programs, fault trees, root cause analysis and trend analysis to prevent breakdowns.
• Capable of managing the spares & consumables.
• Monitoring the machine and equipment performance by ASPENTEC software
Preventive, corrective, shutdown, overhauling maintenance and Troubleshooting for PLC, SCADA & HMI and field instruments.
Involved in Feed Mill projects commissioning with KAHL Gmbh ltd.
Involved in Erection and Commissioning of Automatic Quail slaughter house project with Verderio impianti ltd, Italy.
Having good experience in all packing machines.
Having good experience in programmable of all Rockwell software, Siemens and scada system.
Involved in the planning for upgrades, modifications and execution of the planned tasks in order to achieve zero breakdowns in the section concerned.
Capable of creating logic and interlocks for process & safety improvements in PLC.
Conducting training with machine operator on overall equipment effectiveness.
Capable of managing the spares & consumables.
Daily, weekly, Monthly observation report.
Assist in performing hands-on production and mechanical assembly functions.
Experience in Development of SCADA / HMI & PLC Logic in the following domains:
• Power Plants
• Water & Waste Water Processing
• Manufacturing Industries
Strong Technical Knowledge & Experience in the following:
• Developing Ladder, FBD Logic Programs in PLC
• Designing & Development of SCADA/HMI graphics
• Configuration of PLC, IO Modules and RTUs
• Preparation of Bill of materials (BOM)
• Module Wiring / Wiring schedule diagrams
• Supervision of outsourced manufacturing of panels etc.
• Internal Testing for Hardware panels and Software functionality.
• FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) Support.
• Systems Installation and Commissioning experience.
• SAT (Site Acceptance Test)
Team work Skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, project and time management skills.
Working knowledge of P & ID diagrams.
Familiar with all versions of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.
