Job Summary: Head-hunted into the role reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing. This was a new position with the focus of managing the sales for the Search and rescue Satellite (SAR) solution and systems through the region.

Key Responsibilities:
 Identifying and developing relationships with both channel partners and Direct clients, facilitating deals through the partners and utilising extensive knowledge regarding Government procurement and tendering processes.
 Managing the accounts and coordinating internally to achieve the best result for the execution of the projects and to attain the end user expectations and requirements.

Achievements:
 In 2014, successfully closed the biggest deal in company history, with the value of USD12.5mill (over double the average for this type of deal). This was achieved by developing a personal relationship with the Royal Saudi Airforce and being the most competitive by selling the Company’s USP’s around solution accuracy (which included live feed software), acting as liaison and negotiating the deal with both the channel partner and end user.
 Successfully increased the pipeline from 10% to 60%. This was achieved by:
o Creating the first strategic partnership list for the MEA region and targeted business growth with these clients, maximising real opportunities.
o Selling unique, tailored solutions which in one instance leant proposing and closing a deal for 3 ground stations within KSA. This provided the clients (MOD, MOI and Commercial Aviation) to ensure full confidentiality fir their operations.
o Developed relationships with channel partners which significantly mitigated company risk and meant TOB’s for all parties were more easily agreed, facilitating increased sales opportunities and ultimately led to 6 new partners coming on board within Egypt, Morocco, KSA and Jordan.
