Project Management Responsibilities:
• Deal with user requests to determine efforts chargeable, scope of work, conduct site visits, project documentation, prepare network diagrams, and billing.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs) for hardware acquisition.
• Determine man-day efforts and scope of work for projects.
• Attend Meeting with vendors and internal Team on project discussion.
• Configuration includes switching for multiple banking applications, port and vlan assignment and dealing with vendors for (rack and cabling, Printers, IP Phones, ATMs, Teller Assisted Units (TAU), electronic queuing systems).

Project Implementation Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure at Datacenters.
• Configuring and Implementing LAN and WAN Network with High End Cisco Routers, Switches and Load Balancers.
• Configuring routing and security mechanisms like IPSec, crypto-map, GRE tunnel for traffic back to datacenters.
• Configuring switching between primary and secondary datacenters and determine power requirements, rack space allocation, and cabling requirements.
• Perform bi-weekly change requests during the change window.
• Handling Internal and External vendor projects, providing suggestion and alternate solutions.
• Occasionally provide root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues.

• Involve in the 3G and Wireless network implementation projects for 3 Tower of 2500+ Rooms, Retail Shops, Sky Park and Museum.
• Coordinate and supervise the sub-contractors on the equipment setup and configuration, as well as, the structured cablings.
• Daily tracking and review of the project progress, and provide management reporting on a weekly basis.
• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
• Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements.
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude.
• Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations.

• Managing administration of Router, Switch, IPS, ASA, ACS Server, Network topologies, involving design of network layouts, configuration & maintenance of servers.
• Engineered, and implemented LAN/WAN networks using variety of Hardware/Software.
• Configuring and Troubleshooting Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
• Configuring and Troubleshooting Access Control Lists (ACL).
• Securing Network Devices by disabling unwanted services, access restriction of networks, logging and configuring secure access by using TACACS+ servers.
• Configured the Cisco ASA 5510, Cisco IPS 4215, Cisco 2811 Routers, Cisco Switch 4948 & Cisco 3550, 3560 switches in real time environment.
• Testing of links by using all the configuration activities in the end-to-end routers.

Client : King Abdullah University of Science and Technology
Position : Network Engineer
Duration : Jun 2009 to May 2011.
Role:
• Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of LAN and WAN Network.
• Configuring CISCO based routing e.g. static routing, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and switching e.g. VLAN implementation, STP, VTP, and Access lists etc.
• Designing structured cabling with UTP, STP, etc.,
• Manages network operations include troubleshooting connectivity problems, installing & maintaining routers and switches, adding/terminating users, assigning rights and access, resetting passwords, assessing and reporting operational status, performing backups and restores, etc.
• Troubleshoot operating system, network connectivity, and end-user problems. Provide technical support and provide training for more than 100 company users.
• Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
• Distributed trouble tickets to qualified technician and supervised the daily activities of technicians. Ensured compliance of service level agreements.

Role :
• Installation and Maintenance of LAN Network.
• Installation and Maintenance of Laptop, Desktop computers its peripherals and provide desktop support to end users in using Network resources.
• Monitoring and maintaining for smooth running of Network & IT Department including Windows 2003 Server and XP OS using Workstations.
• Resolve Software, Hardware and Network problems. Isolate and resolve network, e-mail, and PC problems. Troubleshoot various hardware devices PCs, UPS, Modems, Printers and Scanners etc.
• Evaluate and install hardware and software. Develop and support the networking and software needs of users.
• Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Telephone Systems PABX, MDF for 380 Accommodation Lines and 650 Offices Lines.
• Supervised the daily activities of technicians.
