Key Deliverables:
• Prepare BOQs, arrange for Biddings (including filing up BOQs with prices to get the ceiling amount for bidding and choosing suitable contractors) and prepare contracts and NOCs for contractors
• Deliver all required documents to Contractors for Municipality after obtaining them from the concerned departments and Landlords
• Manage projects ensuring customers’ expectations are achieved / exceeded with strict adherence to agreed SOW and delivery within time lines
• Conceptualize measures / modifications in the operating procedures to optimize resource & capacity utilization; multi-skill staff to prepare for changing environments & emergencies
• Plan, execute, manage and lead various project activities within critical timelines; conduct daily tool box meetings ensuring adherence to safety methods
• Liaise with client representatives and attend project progress, quality audit and project status meetings
• Check available material to match specifications for submittal; inspect and supervise the site prior to client visit to ensure adherence to approved drawings and standards
• Ensure all project activities adhere to client requirements, contract specifications, drawings and Project Quality Plan
• Monitor progress and effectiveness of ongoing projects in addition to planning for future projects. Forecast and manage departmental as well as functional budgets related to specific projects.
• Prepare monthly development reports of the project and check lists for various activities involved
• Prepare and maintain daily reports and accelerate resolution of critical activities to ensure completion of the project within time frames
• Co-ordinate with clients before handing over the completed project and discuss corrections to be implemented in the construction phase; ensure all projects run smoothly and that the structure is completed on time and within budget
• Correct any project deficiencies that affect production, quality and safety requirements prior to final evaluation and project reviews
