• Verify Plant H&S Policy and implementation of the Safety guidance in alignment with BU Management Safety Committee intent and Titan Standards. `
• Preparation of comprehensive Safety statistics and trend analysis.
• Personal spot-check field verification on a weekly basis of key performance indicators, and
• Coordinating a systems Audit (1st Party audit) of Safety management systems.
• Provide guidance to senior managers and coordinate major safety programs across operating areas and offices. (e.g., audit, emergency response) where a plant-wide presence provides business value.
• Conduct specialized studies, reviews, and audits including behavioral observations.
• Analyze hazards, risks, and loss potential and advise plant management.
• Maintain substantive contact with local service providers, such as external medical resources, civil defense authority, and governmental HSE office.
• Screen all purchases of safety types of equipment other than records of Equipment already approved by the site. Criteria for accepting a piece of equipment should include approval by any several reputable inspection and testing agencies.
• Assist in training supervisors to enable them to fulfill their safety responsibilities as supervisors of front-line workers completely.
• Assist the new employees by informing them of their safety responsibilities.
• Assign a classification to each injury in accordance with local regulations and company standards. The final accountability for the classification is with the Plant Manager.
• Facilitate the investigation of serious injuries and incidents.
*(Accountability for leading all investigations, issuing the report, and follow-up on the recommendations is with the line organization.)
•Review the application of health, safety, and environmental management programs for all sites.
•Manage the Construction Activities running on new sites Building.
•Selection of the Construction Contractors according to the required Qualification
•Ensure that all The Using Equipment in the Construction site is Calibrated and well Inspected before start Using.
•Ensures and monitors that all contractors and contractors' employees are aware of and comply with company HS&E rules and procedures and that they observe best practice principles while on the site.
•Development of a plan to implement the HSE Policy.
•Development of the Production, Warehouses & M-T Equipment & Machines Safety System
•Organize and maintain internal safety training programs suitable to accommodate all the company's training requirements.
•Set the HSE Training Annual plans for all sites
•Responsible for assuring that the working site is fully complying with local Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations in addition to company standards and operating procedures
•Follow up on all plant's annual license renewal
•Management of all requirements needed by the Civil Defense Authority and Insurance Company
•Assist all plants HSE supervisors to Organize and maintain internal safety training programs suitable to accommodate all the company's training requirements
•Develops & follows up implements and monitors the effectiveness of emergency action plans (Fire, …etc.) for all Ideal Standard Egypt sites.

•Ensures that all personal protective equipment and other safety equipment used on the site is to appropriate specifications and is fit for purpose.
•Monitors and enforces the use of all such equipment.
•Review and comment on the Engineering Study of new extension, addition/modification of the production facilities, from safety point of view. Supporting such comments with standard Such as API, NFPA, ANSI, AZMI, …etc.
•Review Scope of work for maintenance/repair and overhaul activities and recommend the safety Precautions /procedures including the application of Permit To Work System, Lockout/Tag out, Working at Height… procedures
•Undertakes or arranges for all appropriate environmental testing to be undertaken as necessary. This to include noise, emission monitoring, Exhaust Gases “NOX Emission” from boiler, turbine…etc. Ensures that all instrumentation used for these purposes is calibrated.
•Ensure execution of production plan, work instruction, safety and company policy during shift and keep updated information and necessary communications with the relevant personal in the plant.
•Manage & Supervise the production shift and operators on the execution of all production steps starting from Unloading for the monomer (Methyl Mehta Acryl ate-MMA) and Co-Polymer (Butyl Acryl ate - BA) in Storage Tanks area, polymerization process for the MMA to poly MMA through polymerization reactors controlled & monitored by Distributed control system (DCS), preparation for colored polymerization chemical batches, casting of Acrylic sheets through Glass line- Water baths-Dryers, Over head Crane loading and unloading process, Water treatment unit produced for de-ionized and soft water for glass washing, Cut to Size saw area for final product and Recycle Facility transfer the scrap acrylic sheet to monomer again through De-polymerization process using Lead Reactors.
•Ensure that all production steps comply with Quality instruction and the final product Specification complies with NF - defect percentage is acceptable.
•Work together with all production team to achieve our production & quality performance & KPI's per quarter and year.
•Organize the activities of all production units in the shift in order to have high performance.
•Intervene and stop work for unsafe acts or condition & Play the gate keeper and area owner to make the work order during shifts
•Report any abnormal phenomena's during shift regarding Quality, Safety & process execution in production & engineering departments & Ensure that the working environmental is safe and healthy during shift
•Report any accident/incident and rule violations, assist in accident investigation, determine root causes &
•Follow up on corrective actions implementations and being a leader of the emergency response team in shifts.
•Responsible for Polymerization Process (conversion of Methyl Methacrylate to poly methyl Methacrylate) using DCS recent software for controlling & monitoring through computer screens and professional Trends for all operations. Polymerization process running through Polymerization Tower which involves different utilities (Polymerization reactors, Cool tank, hold tank, pumps, temperature, pressure sensors….etc).
•Monitoring for all utilities running on process which involve Chiller system, Air compressors, Glycol and Oil Boilers, water baths pumps, temperature, casting line control system and all chemical storage Tanks.
• Responsible for De-polymerization Process (Conversion of Scrap Acrylic Sheet pieces to pure monomer MMA) using DCS software control & monitoring system. De-Polymerization processes running through recycle Facility which involves different utilities (Lead reactors, Condensers, distillation column…etc).
•Conduct all Polymer Lab & quality Test using Gas Chromatography (GC) apparatus (model HP 6890), Gel Permeation Chromatograph (GPC) apparatus (model HP 1100), Viscometer (Brookfield, SPECTROPHOTOMETER apparatus, KARL FISHER TITRATOR apparatus & ORION PH METER.
