Guarantee the accomplishment of the completion, interventions and work-over operations, in compliance with codes of
practice, safety and environmental protection, all while optimising costs and lead times
- Preparation, planning and optimisation, execution and follow up of the AKPO completion operations: lower completions
(expandable screens and upper completion), necessary intermediate and upper completions.
- Ensure the suitability to operational requirements of personnel, equipment and services
- Contribute to the return on Exploration & Production investments, through a continual search for the improving
equipment, services and operational procedures
- Involve with completion preparation onshore when required within the well supply team

• Carry out Specialized Studies technical matters and solutions to all domestic and international operations by providing technical inputs and regulating technical reviews in compliance with the technical standards requirements for sound decision making in sustaining and achieving successful Development projects.
• Artificial lift design (ESP, Gas lift, & SRP).
• Develops, evaluates and deploys new technology, provide consultation and/or recommend procedures for well completions.
• Teaches in selected seminars / courses concerning well completion technology related topics.
• Provides mentoring in house to trainees.

• Modeling completion performance.
• Performing stimulation technologies (for example, acidizing, fracturing, water shutoff) based on well and reservoir diagnostics.
• Designing and installing sand control applications (for example, gravel packing, frac packing, and consolidation, expandable or mesh rite screens).
• Optimizing completion and work-over designs and operations.
• Designing, implement and supervise well testing programs for exploration wells (Production Test and DSTs).
• Designing intelligent completions for horizontal and multilateral wells.
• Determining primary and remedial cementing procedures along with the design and installation of tubulars, packers, subsurface control and surveillance equipment.
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate equipment to achieve completion objectives.
• Designing through tubing/concentric walkovers and intelligent completions.
• Preparing cost estimates and risk in terms of probability and potential remedies.
• Provides technical support to operating companies in the application of sand control completions for all well types including vertical and horizontal well applications.
• Participates as a technical resource on project peer reviews.
• Supports major capital project teams with early phase development concept selection and design.
• Develops, evaluates and deploys new technology, provide consultation and/or recommend procedures for well completions.
• Provides on-site support for implementation of completion procedures.
• Teaches in selected schools / seminars / courses concerning well completion technology related topics.
• Provides mentoring in house to trainees.
• Participates in activities to help achieve objectives in such areas as financial performance, portfolio development, customer feedback, quality, safety, and environment.

• Design horizontal & multi lateral wells.
• Production operation in onshore/offshore overseas.
• Implement and supervise well testing programs (Production Test and DSTs).
• Well site supervision for workover, completion & well testing operation.
• Well diagnosis & well prognosis for further field development.
• Data acquisition for optimal reservoir and well performance.
• Optimizing well flowing performance using Pet, eng. Expert Software / Prosper.
• Optimizing existing and new surface facilities.
• Well stimulation. & Acid Frac.
• Production well logging & wireline operations.
• Rigless Workover and Completion operations.
• Chemical treatments (Downhole corrosion inhibition, Scale inhibition, Scale removal, )
• Artificial lift design (ESP, Gas lift, & hydraulic pump).
• Specify all the required equipment for all the above operation modes.
• Process all the CFTs procedures required for above equipment / operation.
• Preparing the required special studies for some of the above mentioned phases, such as completion task force, artificial lift task force, rigless work-over operations, and rigless well stimulation and well testing, gas injection and gas lift down-hole communication problem, etc.
• Preparing annual and 5-year business plan.
• Following up/ and control budget and operational cost.
• Adhere to QHSE policy

• Full responsibility for conducting drilling, workover, completion & stimulation.
• Preparing the drilling, completion & workover programs.
• Implement and supervise well testing programs (Production Test and DSTs).
• Supervise cased & openhole logs.
• Selection of production / injection perf (s) intervals.
• Remedial jobs, water shut off & gas shut off & sand production.
• Revise and analysis stimulation and well testing operations.
• Prepare the materials/ budget for all above-mentioned phases.
• Supervise casing, liner & cementing jobs on shore / off shore rigs.
• Supervise a different artificial lift completions specially ESP, HYD. PUMP & SR PUMP.
• Well diagnosis & discussing the downhole problems and find the best solution.
