• Assisting the E&I Engineering team in coordinating activities relating to design,
process and approval to the Client/Consultant.
• Getting involved and providing assistance to the Project Manager & Design Engineers in making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of basic technical activities.
• Assisting the department in designing new products and modifying existing designs in order to meet Clients/Consultants Contract Design & Specification.
• Preparation of Document/Drawing Transmittals and Material Submittals for approval from Client/Consultant.
• Incorporation of Comments issued and preparation of Compliance Statements with respect to the available technical specifications.
• Support in the development of material selection standards, analyzing the technology trends for Client/Consultant needs and market demands to plan the project.
• Preparation of Method of Statement for the Electrical works to be carried out at site with the updation of Task Risk Assessment (TRA).
• Preparation of the Organisation Chart of the entire E&I Project team allocating the respective project activities under the guidance of the E&I Manager.
• Gathering Tender/Contract, Project Execution documents & Engineering Deliverables for the preparation of the E&I Database.
• Implementing and supervising compliance of company policies, procedures and objectives.
• Proposal, Estimation and Supply of the entire range of switchgear components and materials under Schneider Electric at project levels which includes Sub Main Distribution Systems, Distribution Systems and other basic electrical systems pertaining to Low voltage Distribution.
• Interpretation of drawings which included single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable & circuit breaker ratings and other appropriate details required to convey information to the client.
• Supply and pricing of Enclosures and Wiring Accessories in Schneider Electric (previously known as CLIPSAL), their various models and specification sheet as per customer requirement.
• Gather information on technical issues, operational problems, product feedback and performance feedback from the client.
• Maintain close co-ordination with the local vendors and work on their cost reduction.
~ Supervision of all Low Voltage Systems installation.
~ Analysing of Load Schedules and SLDs, Preparation of Estimates, Material Submittals as per the approved Brand.
~ Coordinating electrical design and project related activities between the company and senior engineers.
~ Supervising the installation of MDB, SMDB, DB, Cable trays, Trunks, Cable Glanding, Termination, Cable pulling, Generator, Transformers, Lightening arrestors, Earthing systems.
~ Supervision of all works with the foreman, technicians, helpers, storekeeper on daily basis as per site working plan.
~ Field check progress of electrical work and record of the number of workers on site in each session.
I have secured 66.9% in Engineering ,a pass grade in the Business English Certificate,University of Cambridge, a 6.5 in the IELTS and also been awarded a Certificate of Recognition for organising the Technical Symposium at my University.
