• Assisting in the review and approval of the contractors PQP and other Quality related procedures.
• Monitoring compliance of contractor work quality on site.

• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.

• Review the contractors Inspection Test Plan and all QA/QC documentations.
• Evaluate the QA/QC system implementation by the contractor on site and ensure the compliance with their Quality manual.
• Ensure the contractor has a current Internal Audit plan/schedule.
• Conduct Audit on contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure the contractor have adequate QC personnel onsite during operations to perform the inspection and tests.
• Ensure the contractor performing inspections, sampling, and testing of materials in accordance with the specified standards and as approved in the Inspection test plan.
• Inspect the on-site and off-site materials (factory inspections) to be used in the project, organize/witness field, and laboratory Tests, conducted by third parties on construction materials to ascertain their compliance with the specification.
• Ensure the contractor uses an approved material testing laboratory in accordance with International and Qatar construction standards for testing.
• Initiate, review & oversee project risk reporting of the Contractor.
• Review and comment on subcontractor’s pre-qualifications.
• Review and comment on the test results and alternate proposals submitted by contractors.
• Review and comment on the contractors testing and commissioning plan/procedure.
• Conduct and co-ordinate site quality meetings in conjunction with QHSE Manager & Project Manager and prepare MOM.
• Review Contractor’s weekly and Monthly reports.
• Raise non-conformance notices (NCNs)/reports; site observation reports (SORs) identify quality deficiencies in conjunction with the QHSE Manager & Project Manager.
• Coordinate with other Engineers & Contractor’s personnel to ensure all NCRs, Site Observations and complaints raised on the project are promptly closed and evidence of closure maintained.
• Liaise with the contractor’s QA/QC Manager/Engineer for day-to-day quality issues
• Issue site walk quality issues report to contractor on biweekly basis
• Review the corrective actions proposed by the contractor, respond/follow ups and close out procedure.
• Review and respond to the preventive actions proposed by the contractor.
• Check contractor’s storage facilities, shades etc.; ensure Client requirements are followed and conformance to above.
• Coordination for local authority approvals.
• Contributing and facilitating best practice QA/QC procedures.
• Control, and monitor all activities related to Quality.
• Develop Project Quality plan (PQP) in compliance with Project Specification and Company’s
• Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure all project activities comply with PQP.
• Ensure all Project Registers/logs are established, implemented, and maintained. Logs shall be updated and distributed to all concerned every week throughout the duration of project.
• Review all Technical & Construction submittals/documents in accordance with Project Specification and other applicable local and international standards.
• Preparing Inspection and Test plan and testing and commissioning formats & coordinating with Site engineers and specialists’ Sub-contractors.

• Initiate corrective actions, based on internal audit findings, to correct problem situations throughout the organization.
• Manage the project non-conformance procedure to ensure compliance to project specifications.
• Perform all internal audits based on the project audit schedule in accordance with the standards.
• Verify Sub contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and documentation submittals.
• Liaise and handle matters with main contractors and client and /or representative pertaining to work related issues.
• Preparing method statements to Execute installation as per project Specification and safety regulations.
• Conduction of inspections with consultants and main contractors and clients.
• Review quality inspection, personnel qualifications and training requirements.
• The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
• Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.

•Coordinating works with consultant, Main contractor, Sub-Contractor & Sub-ordinate for daily activities.

•Preparing method statements to Execute installation as per project Specification and safety regulations.
•Preparing of inspection report (materials and work).
•Conduction of inspections with consultants and main contractors and clients.
•Responsible for Quality planning of all incoming goods.
•Responsible for giving feed back to the relevant departments/suppliers and quality status.
•Reports to the QA/QC Manager to overview and compliance of services such as Electrical and Low Current Works.
•Closes all quality issues particularly for Non-Conformance matters, to ensure that all works are done in accordance with plans and specification by laws and applicable code in- charge for the inspection of material deliveries, attain approvals for various change orders and attends to the testing works.
•Coordinate with Civil contractor for all Electro-mechanical clearances on site like, Pouring Concrete, Plastering, Ceiling Closure, Penetrations etc.
•Ensure only stamped “Issue for construction (IFC)” drawings are used on site for construction activities. All “Superseded/Obsolete” documents/drawing are removed from all points of issue and shall no longer be available for use within the project. All superseded documents/drawings shall be stored separately and stamped accordingly.
•Ensure before submitting the drafts for O & M manuals as per specification to get approval from consultants.
•Issuing internal snags and providing necessary supports to minimize consultants / client and final punch list.
•Ensuring Spare parts List, Guarantee & Warranty Certificates for equipment’s/Plants issued as per Project Specification.
•Ensuring all Equipment’s/Plants Training done and accepted by Consultant/Client with Specialists Sub-Contractors for various Systems.
•Responsible for maintaining all applicable standards, codes, literature necessary for performing the job as per specified requirement.
•To assist QA/QC Manager for preparation of QMS Audit (ISO) requirement.

• Quantity take-off’s, Enquiry for orders, raising internal purchase requisition, Follow-up with purchase department and coordinating with manufacturer & supplier for procuring material in time.
• Checking the shop drawing coordination with other trades.
• Attending daily and weekly meetings with Sub-contractor and Subordinates for daily activities.
• Coordinating with Consultant for site work, planning & execution.
• Plan construction work plan, manpower, machinery and material supply and needs.
• Reporting to the Project Manager.
• Ensure quality of work is achieved and safety regulations are complied.
