Responsible for a portfolio of building and marine & infrastructure projects. Role involves the procurement of consultants and contractors in addition to the post-contract management of these packages through to final account close out.
Role involves all aspects of commercial and contract management including budget creation and control, procurement and tendering, contract drafting and award, change management, provisional sum expenditure, variations and claims resolution, payment processing through to final accounting and contract close out.
Lead the pre contract services team in the preparation of cost plans, pre tender estimates, tender documentation as well as tender analysis reports. This is in addition to providing commercial and contract support to other post contract teams.
Pre and post contract cost management services including tendering, compilation of contract documents, provisional sum procurement, tender analysis, value engineering, change management, budget control, cost reporting, payment processing, claims review as well as negotiation of final accounts.
Worked as part of the main contractor’s team with responsibility for procurement and administration of supplier and sub-contractor accounts, preparation of interim applications for payment, supervision and progress monitoring on a daily basis as well as handing over work elements to the consultant of record.
