• Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting, cash management etc.
• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations.
• Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Responsible for quarterly reporting of the group i.e. financial statements and other management reports.
• Review and approve payment vouchers & journal entries.
• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system & policies.
• Responsible for managing all banking activities LCs, LGs, Financing needs etc.
• Responsible to carry out Internal Audit of the company and report findings thereof to the CEO.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend controls to be put in place to mitigate identified risks.
• Perform audit procedures to verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing techniques.
• Review suitability of company’s policies and procedures.
• Determine compliance with policies and procedures of the company.
• Responsible for reconciliation of accounts.
• Assist in monthly closing of accounts.
• Provide assistance in preparation of company’s financial reports.
• Worked in treasury department, responsible for banking activities of the company i.e. keeping track of company’s LCs, LGs and project financing requirements.
