• Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
• Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the strategic sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
• Aids in the process of creating, reviewing and negotiating contractual arrangements.
• Stays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories and Provides guidance and recommendations to business units in order to support margin and top line growth including value chain calculation.
• Works with warehouse department to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
• Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
• Monitors and corrects inventory levels and pallet position at outside warehouses (3PL) and internal warehouses to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
• Follow up with supply chain team on quality issues related to received goods.
• Works with freight forwards and transportation companies to set best route and rate (reviews and approves all freight terms and agreements).
• Stay current on latest customs authority and other governmental rules concerned with the clearance of goods.
• Supports proper utilization of ERP system (MRP, Reports).
o Purchase department management (4 employees).
o Preparing purchase department annual plan in terms of requirements and improvements and integrating it with company strategic management plan.
o Generating monthly action plan for purchase department and communicate it with top management.
o Distribution of missions on officers with deadlines and budgets to fulfill material and services acquisition plan.
o Monitoring achievement level of action plans and reports the results accordingly to top management.
o Managing the execution of all local and foreign purchase activities.
o Reviewing market situation continuously to get a strong position in supplier Negotiation.
o Conducting sourcing process in both Local and Foreign markets.
o Obtaining the best payment terms and getting sure to execute sound finance operations related to purchase process.
o Supervising and maintaining purchase contracts for services and materials.
o Monitoring suppliers performance measurement reports.
o Follow up on customs clearance and duty payments.
o Supervision of ISO requirements and audit events for purchase department.
o Manage logistics operations as part of the purchase process.
o Obtaining continual update of governmental laws and rules that regulate purchase, clearance and logistics processes.
o Generating purchase plans based on PRs at hand and projected demand volume.
o Managing the execution of all purchases activities. o Reviewing market situation continuously to get a strong position in supplier Negotiation. o Conducting sourcing process in both Local and Foreign markets.
o Supervising and maintaining purchase contracts for services and materials. o Monitoring and supervising suppliers performance measurement reports.

o Systematic follow up for items delivery from the time of order until receipt.
o Measuring and controlling suppliers performance .
o Developing and implementing cost management programs.
o Supervising all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials control and handling.....etc
o Receiving and organizing PRs.
o suppliers’ communication and negotiation.
o POs issuance.
o Material deliveries follow up.
o Invoices verification and POs closing in system.
